Why do people pair Auron with Rikku?

In one of my swell new Youtube videos, Auon gets paired with Tidus, Jecht and Braska.

I just thought that Rikku and Auron is sorta like Yuffie and Vincent, and tht got a huge following. but Yuffie and Vincent does seem less pervy than Rikku and Auron. i think its an interesting pair

I may be wrong, but wasn't Yuffie 16? And Vincent is either old or dead. I don't know which. He was in the coffin. So, Yuffie and Vincent is a lot like Rikku and a hybrid of Auron and Kimahri.

no i mean now she's (yuffie) older and he (vincent) doesn't age, physically or mentally as he still as emo as a 15 year old with issues jk. i haven't played X in alonggg time i thought Auron was in his 50's isn't he? I mean physically. i'm probably wrong but thats what i thought, and wasn't rikku like 15?

edit: Auron is 35? oh thats not as bad then. I'm not jumping on this pairing, i for one was quite fond of it

Lulu's baby is actually Auron's.

I didn't think Vincent looked young to me. He may have been emotionally 15, but I'm sure he was at least 30. So, make Yuffie a couple years older, and it may not be illegal, but it's still wrong.

Same with Rikku and Auron.
