Yeah, I thought the way a telescope gathers light prevents us from seeing the flag on the moon. It's one of the common conspiracy theory "proofs". They say you can't see the flag with a telescope, therefor we didn't land. The rebuttal is that telescopes gather light and the flag ends up "bleached out" of the image. Most people think that a telescope acts like a giant magnifying glass, which isn't really true.

that's why they have to calculate it so that there's a certain light spread on the moon and such. I don't remember the details, there was a lot of math involved and there was only like a 3 hour window or something where it could be seen.

It would actually be pretty neat if we could see it. Well, afford something that powerful anyway.

Astronauts have cute outfits and that's all that matters.

Also, faking one moon landing, maybe. Why'd they fake five more?

Yes, they landed on the moon. The fact that some people are so paranoid they've convinced themselves otherwise bugs me.

It wasn't staged. Those weren't actors. That wasn't a boom mic, it was an alien. Etc.

The moon landings were as much a conspiracy as 9/11.

Even if they didnt, who cares? They did by now. They've got an entire spacestation up there now.. arent you gonna speculate that it might be made of cardboard? xD

A cardboard spacestation is a ridiculous idea. At least the "staging" of the moon landing was mildly believable.

I took that point waaaay too seriously.

I dont think we landed when we said we were the first but I guarentee we have now, and someone could have put the flag up anytime they were sent up.
