It's actually 2/3 > 1/3 (the probabilities have to add up to 1, remember), but yeah, you're right in the result. It's a little bit more intuitive if you think that the odds of the car being behind door number 2 equal the odds that you were wrong in your first choice (2/3).
What if you change but it's behind door number 1 and then everybody laughs at you?
