True. For one thing, the land that is now Isreal was set aside after WWII as a homeland for the Jews, but it was originally Isreal anyway, a long while ago. So it's not like somebody just up and took some random chunk of land away from people and gave it a new name, it was the re-establishment of a country.
On another note... Schools in many Muslim countries don't even have Isreal on their maps. That's not because their textbooks are so outdated, it's because they brainwash people from a very young age to hate everything Jewish, Christian, and Western. No matter what our stance is on Middle Eastern Muslims, we will always be their enemy.
(EDIT: The link on the Crusades starts off with a mention of "1095 CE". "CE" is "Current Era", a term made up by people who don't like to say "Before Christ" or "After Death" (BC/AD) because it makes a reference to Jesus. Sounds like an accurate, unbiased source to me :rolleyes2 .
