I read the question but I had already thought up my story so I posted it anyways.

I personally believe that the egg came first, but it's a never ending cycle of endless possibilities. But i will go with the egg, purely because they taste lovely - not that chicken doesn't, of course

I like eggs better. But I'm not a fan of poultry to begin with, so my answer is biased.

You can't make good chicken parmesan without egg, so I say both.

Eggs make thing such as Cakes and cookies.

You can't make a cookie using chicken can you?
