It's not you bip. The purple text is also very difficult to read using EoFF Classic. A brighter shade of purple would help alot, but highlighting it with the mouse works too.
Purple looks great with the Fluffy Puff setting, though.

I don't have a hard time with classic. But good lord your right, 2005's a nightmare.
EDIT: I'm glad you care so much about what I have to say that you'd highlight it.

ADDENDUM: It's still awesome on Puff, but it got slightly worse.
Forget post colors, it's too much effort.
And classics the only skin that really matters.

Edit - and oh sorry, that's what I'm using but I still design webpages for 800x600. I just personally think it's still important plus the way I design them they look good in the higher resolutions anyway :)
