Well you mean the font?
You don't transfer to GIMP! ;) You can find some at dafont.com
Then you download it and you have at 'My Documents' where it says Local Disk (C:) And then you have Panel control and there you have a folder that says 'Type of fonts' and you save the font there :D

i wanna give you photoshop so badly :D . That way, you can get even better
i'm not that familiar with GIMP because i've only used it to make one icon and it looked photoshop quality, but does it have the option to make JPEG images less noisy? I remember back when Owen didn't find out the option to optimize his sigs, they were really dusty and noisy looking. Then, people told him to make the quality higher and his sigs were drastically better looking. Some of your sigs have JPEG artifacts so i just wanted to point it out.

I think this sig is really clean and great looking. There are no JPEG artifacts. The only problem is text, cursive (vladmir?) doesn't look too good for complete texts. Maybe if you used cursive on the first letter of the word, it might look better.

yeah, png quality is just super. For jpg, what quality do you save it as?
I usually save in quality 100 other times 90, it depends! Sometimes 100 is too big for eoff limit size! :(
yeah! i hate the size limit! well, 90 is really high already so it shouldn't have those jpeg artifacts. Do you think it was because your stocks were bad quality? because only a small percentage of your sigs have those artifacts.

Er...is broad borders in fashion now..?I'm really curious though..I would like to try if the chance do come...anyway...Other than the wide border that kinda makes me feel kinda weird about..others are great..I dunno how you do that 2nd sig..but the effects are nice..just the Leviathan's is a little bright..it's even brighter when you use a broad white border..just my opinion..Good Luck.

Well this one is obviously a better one compared to the Leviathan one.Nice effect and sorts..but I think you should try new font style..for the past few sigs your using a somewhat similar font..I guess..that's just my opinion anyway.Good Luck.

I would say that the Rikku one is abit..out?I mean her right eyes is kinda like way off angle..is it a fanart?Anyway..to rotate without blurring it..I think it's by changing the interpolation..I dunno which is best but I tried to rotate and get a clear picture out of it.

Yes you do, or unless you know how to blend layers very well, but it won't turn out as good. Basically just a bunch of filters/brushes with multiple layers, then brushing bits of the edges around the image to make it blend in.Quote:

Well I'm not good at avatars..neither commenting on it..well to me it looks fine and nice.Except for the Shinigami Ryuk which I think if you preserve the original colour the avy will look better..other than that I think all is really good.Especially the 'Don't Look Back' avy is really beautiful.

All those avys are good..just that it doesn't reflect the characteristic of the character though..Well just my opinion because Squall is more like a silent person I think a darker bg and colder bg will work nicely..just my opinion anyway.

wow Polaris the avatars are your best so far, my faves are the squall, rinoa, seifer and selphie ones... they really suit the characters and the text is best in them...
and about the sigs, the first and last one are the best, really nice effects and colors, plus the text is really nice, borders and blending is good too :) the other two are good as well...
The first one that is orangey is very nice. You cut renders so amazingly, really. Wow.

The text in the sig is a little hard to read..but the text blends quite ok with the sig..and maybe you make it in a rush?Because it looks kinda..anyway only my opinion is that the border is too thick..just my opinion..But the waves are nice..Good Luck.

about the border, i have to say that i disagree with XandrewX, i think the border is really simple and it fits the sig perfectly,
but i do have one minor comment... i think the sig is way to edgy, you should have blurred it, doesn't have to be much just like, perhaps gaussian blur with the ratio of 1,00 just to make it less edgy... but it's still a great sig polaris :)
EDIT: Btw, i like the text and the font is awesome:) ... I have to find better fonts:rolleyes2 :p

I think it's really nice and simple and totally suits the signature...sure it's not "WOW FREAKING AWESOME!!!!:eek:" but it really fits in good with the sig...
I just said that the border is somehow too thick that's all..:eep: Every sig I created had borders too...just don't be too special with the borders because..sometimes something must be kept simple..just my opinion though...Quote:

it's really nice but i'm not so sure about the dark bg... i can't put my finger on it but something about it is bothering me... if i find out what i'll tell but it's really a nice sig :)
Because the angel's wings aren't..dark coloured?It's a holy angel wing..can't blend well with dark bg..?I dunno..
yup it has to be that... it's too much contrast and the light angel doesn't quite fit in with the bg... something like that at least... but the render is awesome just the bg should be changed i think...

For the angel one, I think it's too bright for tha background, and it's kind of hard to read the smaller text (Too transparent.) I like the render though.
And the second one, yeah I like it too.
The latest one is nice..but there's a place where it's kinda bright..should add a lil yellow to cover it I guess..well just my lame opinion anyway good job.

they're really good polaris :) excellent although i don't like the text on the last one... Gimwald... should be another font... although I have to give you alot of credit for the kind of hiiden "Ruler of the Shire" text in the last one...
and another thing... the black lines to the left and right in the last sig are a bit weird...
