An English team lost to a German team? This is a dark day for English football. Frankly I think if we football thread regulars put together a team we could probably win the Bundesliga.

LAST ENGLISH TEAM (with Fulham) LEFT IN EUROPE WOOOOOO!

yeah I know we're going out soon but damnit let me have this, this season has been :bou::bou::bou::bou:.

You know, despite being so gutted about going out, I'm actually really proud of the performance we put in tonight. If we'd played that way on Saturday, we'd be top of the league.

You know what was the worst? All the english fans booing everytime a german got the ball, talk about bad sportmanship and racism. :P :P :P :P

Yep, all during the game. By the way United aren't English, they're Manchunian. No self respecting United fan I know from Manchester despise the nation team.

Thats still English, it doesn't even compare to something like Catalonia, which actually nearly is its own country. I know of ManchuRia, which is in China though.

It's as I thought months ago when they went out of the European Cup - Liverpool will win the Europa League and wind up having a better season than Arsenal and Man Utd. The Four Horsemen are gathering!

If you asked me what I'd prefer, winning the Europa League or making it to the quarterfinals of the CL, I'd probably take the quarterfinals. There's something that doesn't feel completely right about the idea of United winning the Europa League. The idea that you need to fail in order to win it is something rather unsettling.
