You can't judge how a mod is preforming unless you have actually hosted a game. I think Lekana and DD are doing a very good job, and if you don't like their style, then don't sign up to play. Mafia is what you make of it.
Problem is, it's hard to tell someone's style when it's time to sign up.
Except for ed. There's no way in hell I'm signing up for that mess. I might not even do the mafia accounts for it.

Eh in a way I agree with AK at least on last game. I dunno about this game minus ed's posting of his role PM, and I have no knowledge on past games. But last game ed was honestly a dick about the whole situation in my opinion, a simple mistake happened, and Psy and qwerty came up with a solution, ed didn't like it so he decided to just screw the game over unless they restarted. Really I felt the way ed handled himself in the situation from last game was just a horrible way to do act.
As for this game I felt that Lekana and DD could of done the actual running a bit smoother. Early on the vote count/time was kind of an issue (and still kind of is), DD I don't think has even been on in the past 3 or 4 days so it's really just been Lekana as of late. I'm just too much of a perfectionist though I guess.
It's not that lekana is doing bad... more she cant do everything and DD is just a failure.

I don't see how it's very very powerful. Especially in a game where half the town is night kill immune anyway.
Silly it could have made false connections. Say miriel had used her day kill and then kari used her janitor skill and killed paul. No one would know his role and they'd be suspecting everyone he had cleared. That's powerful.
Why would they suspect people he had cleared, when obviously the lack of a role reveal means he was hit by a mafia janitor, therefore not mafia?
Yeah, I tried looking up some games on other forums where the Janitor role was in play, and I still couldn't really figure out the best way for the role to be used, especially considering that the Mafia janitor was only given one opportunity to use the cleaning up ability. Not saying that it's not useful or beneficial, but it's a hard role to try and use to the best of its ability.
And yes, exactly what Lekana says about connections, especially with regards to a two mafia game. It's especially powerful if the ability works for lynches, and technically there is no reason why it shouldn't. Cop, Janitor, Assassin and Recruiter are the Mafia Big Four in my opinion, and this lot had 'em all.Quote:

Not everyone knows what a janitor is. It's eoff, not like every player looks at the flash all the time. They wouldn't be able to pinpoint it right away. Eh, anyone who does that early in the game is a sitting duck no matter what. And late in the game it would have to assume that the assassin was still alive and hadn't used their ability yet. I'd say it's a rare occurrence where it would be useful. There were limitations on a bunch of roles. As paul said those are 4 of the best mafia roles in the game. If anything, the mafia was overpowered. I had to add power town roles and reduce powers so they didn't rape the town. I don't think you know all the tweaks on the roles as well Del so you really shouldn't jump to conclusions either. Just saying. ;)

I didn't use my ability 'cause I was gonna kill DK the night I was killed and was gonna use it then. However, it seems they beat me to the punch and killed me before I could do it ;-; I would have loved to use it on Paul or AK but since they're both night-kill proof, it wouldn't have been possible.

Tried to kill Pac Man with my one shot as assassin, but I was blocked. Which meant that Pac Man was either bullet proof (and Crono was lying) or Pac Man was godfather. Godfather seemed the more likely choice.
I didn't realize until I was out of the game that my one bullet was pretty much meant for you and only you.

All I can say is geez, town got lucky that we had a good vig this time around. I still remember when Shiny and Kentarou played as Edge. That was a load of laughs to read the death scene though. It's funny when mafia is out classed by a vig. :p
I'd like to see in the next game:
No recruitment (been in the last three games)
No Vig (been in the last three games)
No Masons (been in the last three games)
But of course it's entirely up to the moderator.

The only thing I would like to not see in the next mafia game is immunities for roles that you want to keep in the game. Yeah, it sucks if the serial killer dies the first night. It sucks if the godfather dies early on. It sucks if town loses a major power role before that role even gets to be used. And so on and so forth. But giving immunities in order to ensure that the roles will play out as they were intended to play out sort of ruins the element of danger in the game. I like the idea that unless doctors do their job properly, anyone at any time could kick the bucket.
This last game had 3 night kill immune people for the town, and 2 for the mafia. That's a bit much in my opinion. And the game before that there were night kill immunities as well. I say the next game, everyone should have a fair shot at dying. :)

Death by Moogles and I are thinking of a classic game with no power roles when it's our turn. What do y'all think?
In a small game sure, but I'm inclined to go no in a 23 person game. I mean no need to over do power roles as some games have been, but having a few additional interesting roles can spice up the game I think. But that's just my opinion.
No power roles doesn't necessarily mean no special roles ;)
Yeah, I agree. A huge game should have at least a few power roles! The classic Vanilla, Mafia, Doctor, Cop setup would be a bit bland with so many people.Quote:

Serial Killer deserves some kind of boost to be honest, be it night kill immunity, investigation immunity, being able to hide for a night, or whatever.
A hiding SK might have some merit. However, night kill immune Vig was way too powerful.
Roto is my savior ^.^ I've been out of town all day. Also only 2 town were night kill immune. Pikachu almost died twice when mafia was chatting. I should put up night actions o.o should get around to that >.>
This game was fun to watch xD I almost regretted quitting after seeing Pac Man get hammered on but nah :p I've been wanting to say this forever and...

Was when BlackHeartNumbers targetted Psy for a burglary on night 2 after he had already shot someone with his vig powers xD And got a gun, and then voted for Psy on day 3 cos' he had a gun. xDDDD You are my hero, BlackHeartNumbers ^_^
