He was active just not in the main thread there for you can't really make a comment on his inactivity since the "inactivity" was nonexistent. Being active will do that for you. Things behind the scenes happen too you know.

Honey stop you can't win.

This person didn't have to be active in the main thread they were a Mason. Therefore someone else was able to see what they had said and were able to relay that information to the general public. So no, they did not have to be active in the main thread.
