I dont like the first one. The quality of the render just kills the quality of the sig as a whole. And whatever you did to the backround just throws me off. The second one is okay though.
I agree with Liz. The first one is mediocre. The second one has a quote that doesn't really make much sense to me, but the sig is okay.

I'm not a huge fan of any of them besides the one that isn't C4D. The colors are way to bright and splattered all over the place and it makes the pictures in them look distorted.

Not bad not bad. You've lowered the height of the colour deliberately. It's a good technique, but I don't think it worked here.

First one from Kingdom Hearts didn't look like too much, just looked like you set a color gradient over it with some text and whatnot.
The Harry Potter one looks like it has the most advanced techniques you can use. Something about the position of the stock isn't too great, but liking that you used a render for that one, although it's kind of a stiff color that sticks out too much from the rest of the tag. Maybe changing the hue of the render to orange and Merging Down then set to Lighten would work. Text isn'g anything to write home about. Otherwize, looking good.

I think that they need better borders, actually. The Pegasus one almost looks like its lacking a border because it is black. And the text "Water feeling" seems kind of bland and unimaginative.
I like the renders and such though.

Well the 2nd one is kinda some badass ...it's nice...but I've seen someone use that render as a sig in this forum...from a request...anyway...it's nice but artisticly...1st one beat the rest...trust me..
Both Are nice as usual Owen.
With the first one I don't much like the text In addition I am not a fan of the plainer backgrounds. But artistically speaking there really isn't any real issue, just personal preferances coming through.
The second much better fits what I like. Nice Script like text and the background is more complicated :p. Not much to complain about only real issue I see with it is the background in the top left corner. It feels sorta out of place to me. But meh, that only occured after I stared at it a bit.

The first one isn't that great. The background doesn't match well. The picture is way too with some rough edges. The text is unimaginatively placed and its not even a great font. I don't like it at all.
The second one isn't much better. It reminds me nothing of mountains. It looks like water or something. The way the text is placed isn't great either. You could have at least made the little button-like things transparent. The border isn't great either.
I would have to aggree with Genji on the first one's background. I'll stay away from text commenting since my sight is so awful right now that all I really see are blurs anyways.
As for the second one I do get the feel of mountians from it(or rather a mountain but close enough). Though I would aggree with genji's suggestion on making the bars that the text is on partiually transparaent.
Overall they look nice but aren't as good as many of your others.
the day genji gives you a good comment on your sigs would be (SPOILER)end of the world:p but i do have to agree with him on the second sig. It feels a lot more of water than mountains.
the first one is okay and i really like the colors but the text seems out of place. It's as if you jammed it into that tight space but the warm coloring looks really good.

Owen, the text is somewhat hard to see, the border of the font is black, and the background is dark. The effects are cool though.

whoa now, no need to start a stupid flamewar, So Genji doesnt like the sigs, its his opinion, just likes its urs to like them Andrew. And Genji is right cause Owen posts the sigs expecting to get feedback, and hes bound to get negative feedback and its his option to take it or leave it.
And on his latest one the text is a bit hard to see, dont try to do too many things to your text, keep the font and effects on it simple. The border personally i dont like either, but thats just me. But other then the text its a good sig.

great sig owen! maybe some more unique text effects may be of help but i say it's a very interesting looking sig. Maybe the Owen part of the text can be a different color since it's in the dark part of the sig and can be hard to read. The effects are very cool looking because C4D can be hard to master at some times so you did a good job. I also like the fact that you don't use brushes in your creations lately because that proves your true potentials and not just your potentials to use other people's work.

That sig is pretty cool. I like how there's so many swirls in it :P and the fonts pretty awesome. The only thing that sort of bothers me is the yellow/gold-ish color on the right. It doesn't really match with the rest of the sig color :P
I agree with innocentenshi7 but overall it's a good sig but also the gold colour for me it's ok to be in it.As Christmas are meant to be colourful and joyful so a little colour added is nice too.It's better than mine also so Good Work.

Well it's a nice sig Owen...really good job.But to me I think you can resize the Leviathan to become smaller.I mean...his head is too big in thsi sig for my opinion and my opinion only...overall it's a nice one and the wave is kinda nice
the text is too plain and the whole sig lacks a sharpness to it. It lacks a foreground that really stands out as the theme of the sig. But i like the colors.

Ok, This picture, poster whatever you like to call it lacks sharpness but I didn't know how to sharpen it since it gets pixeled when I sharpen it.
I smudged the Balamb garden picture to make that pic, and I call it "Silver fish" or "Silver rabbit", took about 30 minutes or a bit more.
No brush using, just the small balls and the glitering!.

That is very nice(though I think you could have done some brushing to improve it). I also think something other than a solid black would have done well for the background. Maybe a black with a blackish-blue color intermingled with it a bit to give it a certian feel. Well,if I'm to choose...your current using sig/your last sig.Is the best.New style to it and the text are well written in the sense that it's nice.I mean the font is nice.Well,other than that all are great too.Just the 'beautiful' one and the 'space boy' their styles are abit the same.Honestly you've use the same square thing on eyes on quite some sigs you've made :) The Utada Hikaru ones and these ones.

Owen, all of your sigs are beautiful. I just got GIMP, and I'm a newbie, so I'm still learning. But, my sigs are looking a lot better with the system.

yup, i kinda think it's a bit too blurry and dark although that's kinda the fashion for sigs right now...many people blur and all that... just isn't my style i guess... nothing bad about it really.. just not me... :) but i love the ones with cars and the football are my favourites... but the harry potter sig is nice too... :):):)
