Why do people pair Auron with Rikku?

Kiros says it's been about a year when you meet him again in winhill when laguna and raine are raising ellone before she's kidnapped

I actually quite like the pairing, I can't think of it as necrophillia because Auron is not a decaying corpse he looks very much alive for 99% of the game. Also I don't see it as pedophillia, I could never imagine Auron dressing Rikku in a ballerina outfit and saying "come sit on daddy's knee little girl hehe" Auron is just not pervy :rolleyes2

either way, Laguna is not 27 when he lives in ester, coe on that was obvious, its been quite some time.

Probably because they have sort of the same attitudes. Remember when they both didn't go into the farplane? What do you think happened when they re alone together hmm? :eek:

They are simply channeling Vincent and Yuffie. Auron and Rikku are basically their expys.
