I'm posting in this thread because, coincidentally, the metrosexual episode of South Park is on atm.

Karen is really about the only thing that Will and Grace has going for it and she's not enough to carry the show. Everything else is lame predictable sitcom fare, just with more gays.

I've always found Will and Grace refreshing because its topic hadn't been much discussed on TV. Its "sitcomness" seemed atypical. I found myself "roflmao"-ing more in it than I had with shows like Frasier, Friends, Home Improvement, etc. Its writing was also very nice.

Oh well. To each his own, I guess. :(

I fully agree. It's probably the sitcom that's made me laugh out loud the most.

Also, John Barrowman auditioned for the role of Will, but apparently he was "too straight" :P But meh, Eric McCormick (sp?) is a great Will, so I really don't care that Barrowman did not get the role. I guess it worked out for the best.

That's funny, because McCormack is straight. He has a wife and kids. :greenie:

I always remember he sang the anthems at an NHL all star game recently. I just can't remember which one...

That is true, but I like to think if he had got the part of Will, he would stil have been Cpt. Jack. I can dream.
