Dido - Here with Me
I loved loved loved this song, as I had a huge obsession with the show 'Roswell' as a kid.
Roswell was awesome. Katherine Heigl was at her yummiest.
My first was the soundtrack to The Mask on cassette.
My first CDs were the soundtracks to Batman Forever and the Power Rangers movie, which we got with the 12 free Columbia Record Club thing that we also canceled immediately. I still remember how big of a deal it was when my sister got her stereo with a CD player.
The Final Fantasy VI soundtrack.
Dream Theater The Greatest Hits.
This Instrumental really make my world crazy haha :D
It was either the Britney Spears "...Baby One More Time" single or whatever Ricky Martin album had "Livin' Da Vida Loca".

I received my first ever CD by tearing a sheet out of a magazine I'd borrowed from the library, and mailing something in. It was this:

Once I received the CD, I took it to my nearest music store and explained it was bought for me as a gift, but I already had a copy, so I wanted to exchange it for this:

I can't remember what my first first was. As far as I can remember, my early collection included:
Nevermind
Rage Against the Machine
40 oz to Freedom (one of the few cd's I still have, most others have been lost)
The Black Album
2Pacalypse Now
Apollo 18
Ill Communication
Off the Deep End
A Chopin piano collection
I don't remember which one was my firstie, though.
Oh oh, no I remember now, it was Joe Satriani. trout, how could I forget that lol. Still have it and listen to it all the damn time.

My first CD would have been either Green Day's Dookie or Red Hot Chili Pepper's Blood Sugar Sex Magic. I enjoy listening to both of them to this day and Blood Sugar Sex Magic is one of my favorite albums.
I was a little late getting to the CD party. I didn't get my first CD until I graduated in 1997. Technically, it was two CDs that I bought at the same time. I believe it was Aerosmith~Nine Lives and Def Leppard~Vault. :)
