No, it's not opinion when you consider all the security flaws in IE :p It's like alcohol - people know alcohol is a drug, and all the problems it can cause, yet they continue to choose to drink it rather than not drink it :pQuote:

Perhaps people (myself included) use Firefox because we refuse to conform to society. A lot of people use Internet Explorer and us un-conformists believe that Firefox is the better option and we've convinced ourselves thusly.
Then again IE sucks a lot of excrement. And I'm tabbing like 12 sites right now and blocking about 2 million pop-ups.
That would show opinion. Some people are of opinion that alcohol is worth the problems, some aren't. It's still a case of opinion more than anything. I think alcohol isn't worth the problems and I think changing to Firefox isn't worth the solutions, particularly when the IE problems aren't troubling me in the slightest.Quote:

Good thing about Firefox is that you can export your bookmarks and stuff as an XML file, and then import it into Firefox later. For one thing, this lets you save a backup of your bookmarks; IE can't do that. For another, the XML file can be imported from Firefox on any system; I tend to export bookmarks in Linux and import them in Windows, for example.
So far as aesthetics, that's a matter of opinion, but I like being able to customize. I like the fact that I can make my own theme and use it. And Windows in general is hideous, in my opinion.
On a side-note, could you give me any pointers for making themes? Much obliged.Quote:

Ok, I'm using Firefox right now and well I'd like to know how to make it run so great as you apparent Firefox worshipers are saying it does...
Here are the problems I'm having with it(which by the way, I have none of these problems with IE):
1. Its running rediculously slow...pages take about 5 minutes to load.
2. Java applications act very crappy and skip flicker and the like.
3. Its not blocking popups even though popup blocking is enabled.
4. When I download a new theme I get an error message and still have the same default theme afterward.
Anyone know how to fix these? Cause if these problems can't be solved then it is indeed the crappiest of crappy browsers.
And my apologies for my ignorance, but what the hell is "Tabbed browsing"?
I personally use Mozilla.
But on some applications, I tend to use Slim Browser. I don't like IE because it gives me no options whatsoever. The interface is decent, but popups are too easy to get through on IE and no tabbed browsing...which is a major turnoff. Slim Browser is just a shell for IE, but at least it gives me the option of filtering pop ups and allows tabbed browsing.
I've finally decided to download a new theme for it, and I'm getting an error message, too. But pages load at the same quickness for me (slow) and I've never had any problem with java.
