I found this awesome walkthrough for Twilight Princess on youtube (and the guy's voice makes me 10000% more invested) and he does a great job of narrating the whole thing so it's simple and easy to understand, BUT he will narrate the dialogue while it's on screen, basically saying "And now Midna is telling Link about blah blah" and it gets confusing because he he tells it in a different order/way then what's going on in the text box

In the international version, the Dark Aeons are superbosses that you can fight for the hell of it. Dark Bahamut chills out here and if I didn't get the sun crest there I would need to fight him to get it. I missed it once before and gave up in that game. I wasn't going to miss it again.Quote:

You can't beat Dark Yojimbo that way, sadly. Well, you can, but you have to beat him 5 times in a row and the most Zanmatos I ever managed in a row was 3, and that was only once.
You guys don't really Aeon spam at all like I always do.
Matt is morally against aeons or something.
Why would I want to use a super cool looking Wrymface when I can use a peppy teenage girl in my party? Real reason is that I could use one powerful Aeon or three powerful characters which gives much more flexability. Aeons are primarily used as shields for big attacks.
Reflect works pretty great in the Yunalesca fight. Protects your Zombies from Cura/Curaga/Regen (although you better dispel Yunalesca's Regen) and I think it also bounces back the status effect spell counters in the first phase.
Ah yes, Dark Bahamut, one of the three Dark Aeons that really trolls American FFX HD players. Admittedly his placement right on top of the Sun Crest is pretty thoughtless. One of the most fun superboss battles in the game, though.
Back to the airship with us, to discuss the plans that our team have come up with. Or... not. Still got nothing? This doesn't bode well for Spira. At least Yuna got to meet her estranged uncle...?

I have a compelling need to point out that Shauna was right; there's a teleport pad a few steps behind you when you fly to Zanarkand Ruins, and it teleports you straight to the cloister of trials too.
And yeah, Geosgaeno uses that 9999 hit if you kill him while he has a party member in his belly. A beginner's trap you might say.

We are, but because of the amount of grinding that will require... We're just gonna finish up the game, and update more sporadically with the Dark Aeons, Monster Arena, etc.
Wait, can you do that stuff after you finish the game? I've just never really done either, so I'd like to see them!
Well, you go back to the last save before you take on Yu Yevon, and you can wander the world at your leisure. But yeah, we're definitely planning on trying to beat them all. It's just gonna take a long time, and we wouldn't want to stretch the LP any further than we need to.
The end of the plot will be the end of the two episodes a week updates and from there we'll probably do an Omega Ruins episode (might do that before Yu Yevon)... an episode for each battle with the Dark Aeons, each of the Monster Arena fights... and a considerable amount of streaming Blitzball, Lightning Dodging, Monster Capturing...

Journeying through Sin isn't terribly exciting. There are Ahrimans (Ahrimen?) and Adamantoises and that's about it. And water or something? Eh.
Oh also Seymour shows up again. That guy needs to get something better to with his life. Or death, if you must be pedantic.
Yeah I felt he overstayed his welcome on the game and that last fight with him was just unnecessary. The fight at Mt. Gagazet should have been the last one with him. I felt that including him in this last dungeon just added unnecessary noise to the final part of the game.Quote:

In our time with Final Fantasy X HD Remaster, I have made a fair number of excuses for being terrible at this game. There was sand in my eyes, the oven was still on, it was totally Shauna's Fault etc. This time though, I get to blame an external source. Y'know I heard Demi is a pretty cool spell. It does, like, 1/4 of the enemy's HP. Heard it's pretty useful against enemies that have many tens of thousands of HP.
Just when I couldn't believe your luck against the Great Malboro, you go ahead and take a full-force Meteor from a King Behemoth. Great job, MATT.
In all seriousness, Meteor is actually a physical attack so Magic Break wouldn't do jack, and I think he's immune to Power Break. What does work though is Protect, Cheer and Defend. Or you can capture him in which case he doesn't use Meteor. Or you can kill him with a counterattack, which he can't counter.

Nice job on BFA. Those sword swipes can wipe you out so damn fast if you don't keep up. Didn't even remember you could Slow those Pagodas, but damn that looks pretty helpful.
For future reference, Tidus' Talk command empties BFA's overdrive gauge and also costs him his next turn, but it only works twice.

Our heroes battle their way through the Omega Ruins to take on the super powerful Ultima Weapon. The Shaunas all the while will catch you up on their successes and failures of FFX in the months they've been missing.

It was funny because of our immense failings at maths. We thought he only had three turns before Yuna got a turn - so we defended three times, which was perfect because he only had enough HP for those three turns, and he had a whole 3HP left. Scraped by! We breathed a sigh of relief and mashed X to get Yuna to Holy the Demonoliths to death.
Then Tidus jumped forward and died after missing his attack, because we couldn't count and it turned out he actually had four turns before it was Yuna.
It's not funny when you tell the story. But there it is.
Lets Play FFX HD Episode 73 - Op? What do you mean OP?
In our second special Omega Ruins episode of FFX HD, we hit some guys in the shin and they explode before fighting the super-boss, Omega Weapon.
To round off this year long adventure, we fight a mysterious super boss and end the game in true the Shaunas LP fashion - by getting our butts kicked.
Shauna has the most holy damage. Yeah you tell 'im, Rikku is bobbins.
