Isnt that number kinda not accurate? After all this site could be in those listed because we typed the word =/
Na, there's plenty of sites that would come up with the word "sex" in them.
Even though I hardly ever post (this is the fourth in a little over 2 years), I think it would be sad to see this place having a porn forum. Like others have said, it would bring in the wrong kind of crowd and it could spread viruses. I know since I think my father was looking at porn one day and I got the privlage of deleting the viruses he picked up out of the computer, manually. Yeah, I have verry little virus protection. With it could bring in the wrong crowd, it doesn't mean not having a porn site will bring in the wrong crowd. I was a memeber of FFLegend till they redid their site to look like it was hacked, the staff were jerks, and the members and staff left tons of senceless spam. I also got into a few scraps with staff, which might explain a lot about me being here. However, my point is that even though it doesn't prevent mindless jerks from coming, it does lower the chances of it happening. I hope it doesn't really happen, but then of course, I really don't have any say since I don't have the guts to post much.
Why do people always associate people that look at porn to be immoral bastards? They are people too, and they also *gasp* like sex? Just because some people are jerks in any community that does something doesnt mean that everyone is a jerk in that community.
From what i seen, Boards are different than those stupid sites that just give you pictures free or pay. Theres an actual community and should the staff be good, the people in there will be good as well. Just like how FFL is different from EoFF as you said yourself. Theres always the occasional idiot at every forum, and its up to the staff and people who warn the staff to keep things orderly at any forum.
Viruses are only gotten if you Kazaa :P Again you also said you have little virus protection..so there you go. In boards people that genuinelly post, dont post up viruses..again depends on the community.
Nah. Well, not my Blockbuster, at least. :Cool:Quote:

This would be a good issue to tackle in the upcoming elections.
I was even more suprised at the sentiment of people still paying for porn.Quote:

How do I feel on the subject of porn itself? That's different. I definitely think it's something people shouldn't be encouraged to view, but trying to stop them is ultimately futile and just makes the forbidden fruit that much more appealing. The problem is when someone's porn viewing habits conflict with their real life. When you start staying up too late or neglecting personal hygiene or social contact, that's when it hurts you. It's a complicated issue, really, because it lies in the mind of the person viewing, and the mind is anything but simple. You can absolutely view porn without being adversely affected. You can also view it and be adversely affected. There's a lot of issues where the lines between healthy and harmful blur and the one frequently goes hand in hand with the other, but suffice to say, if you're posting on a porn forum, it's probably not a good sign.
