The role never required a specific "target", I guess. My setup will be far less crazy, I can possibly promise you that!

Yeah, I was wondering about that the whole time. The thing with original roles is they are difficult to balance.
Also my plan was to have Dudley claim cop and take me down, that way you all would think he was actually a cop.
It would have worked if Snape didn't have that role. It was a bit overpowered, a role cop that is immune to nightkills from paranoid gun owners.
The entire game was based on luck with nightchoices.
Goyle was a random shot, and after killing him we tried to eliminate the other mafia. Sirius was pretty obvious after killing Ginny. We knew there was another mafia, so it was obvious.
Only other problem I had was recruiting is supposed to take the place of the nightkill. It can change the dynamics of the setup too much otherwise.
Also Joy only protected mafia. :p
We where really underpowered we deserved that >:0

I agree with the night one thing. I didn't suspect jess till the last night cause I thought he may have recruited. She'd have been on my list earlier had I known a recruiter was in mafia.
I had told wes, "He's a recruiter, he probably recruited. I mean I'D recruit jess she's so townish it's funny." Also she kinda connected herself to Remus a little bit. That last day we were alive.
God job though jess. You always get the cool roles and we never suspect you xD

This was a pretty decent game, other than the inclusion of Jester and Lyncher. I just don't like roles whose win condition isn't to be the last team standing, and I especially don't like it when I get one of those roles :mad2:. It had it's share of other controversial roles and but what game doesn't have that. Good job to lom and Denmark.
I need a tl;dr recap of what went down. :(
EoFF came to the conclusion that Denmark is a loony for making up the setup. And Town got 2nd place after PsyBoy and Levian.
OMG THE TOWN DID THE RIGHT THING. Lekana and I both agreed on Luna (my other suspicion was Dobby and her other suspicion was Myrtle) because she was an obviously good recruiting candidate.
Neither the town nor the mafia really deserved to win, though. The mafia would have definitely won if we had been killed instead of Peter the night after Snape was lynched (which should have happened). Of course, then the town tried to hand it right back to them by actually LISTENING TO WHAT A KNOWN MAFIA SAID TO DO WTF.
But anyway, yay town!
i had fun while I was playing, so it was a success to me XD

It happened twice in this game. Both Hagrid and Draco investigated themself.
And apparently logic is not necessarily always carried over to Mafia games from real life.
Investigating oneself shows if you are insane, paranoid or normal/naive.

Unless he believes that he has a second persoanlity that does bad things at night he doesn't know about, a cop should NEVER come to the conclusion that he is scum, regardless of what kind of cop he is.

I know it's a game, but there needs to be SOME resemblance of sense.
The Cop can't exactly investigate everyone in one night. He has check records, scenes, question people, and all sorts of things for 1 invstigation. It's both sensible and balancing from an ingame prespective that only one investigation can happen a night, especially when you consider the cop needs sleep.
Really, every role in Mafia can be viewed sensibly, with a few exceptions.
There isn't the slightest hint of sense in the cop investigating himself however.
