Is it Hammerblow?
It is Hammerblow.
I am your unwavering partner whom you uphold in pride
For I match your might and will die by your side
I'm a feather for the chief, who shares another with his flock
You found me in the sky, and you'll need me when you drop
Is the Seraph Comb, which is Nanaki's memento of his father?
Zack?
Good guesses, especially Seraph Comb, but no.

For Cloud specifically
I assume it is Ultima Weapon for Cloud then. Its "might" increases the more health Cloud has.
Good to see this thread still going strong! I like your color coding there too, Sum! :D
Someone else can grab this one ;)
I'll take this one then.
A last addition to a work of art,
Steep going here, beware of falling rocks.
Screw your courage to the sticking place,
And watch the nighttime spectacle in the sky.
Traverse the scars of yesterday,
And shine a light from the sacred sword.
The gods grant you power to conquer all,
Smite evil with their strength at your side.
Good luck with this!
Temple of the ancients?
I'm going to have to say the Crater.
Traversing the scars of yesterday just tells me that's the answer.
It's not Temple of the Ancients or North Crater.
I'm thinking something along the lines of Enemy Skill.
Not Enemy Skill Materia.
I'll give a hint every five guesses.
It's not the observatory in cosmo canyon, is it? The spectacle in the sky and falling rocks make me think of comets etc
Sorry, it's not the Cosmo Canyon observatory either.
Is it Holy, or where you find it (City of the Ancients)?
It's not Holy/White Materia, or the Forgotten Capital.
Hint: It's not a place.

Kalm Flashback?
Ramuh?
Not the flashback in Kalm, or Ramuh.
Knights of the Round?
Not Knights of the Round.
The date at the Golden Saucer?
No, not the date at Gold Saucer either.
i have no idea what its called.
but at a certain moment in the game you can play a game where you have to defend a house (or something) up on a hill.
i hate that game...
is it that?
Edit: searched it up ^^
Fort Condor
Nothing to do with Fort Condor.
Hint: Don't take it so literally. Think outside the box. And don't just guess randomly either! It helps if you give a reason for your guess, then I can help you out.
When Holy saves the world from Meteor?
Is it Barret's ultimate weapon, the Missing Score? The first line seems to refer to its name, while the rest could possibly describe where it's found and what it is (though I don't have solid reasoning for this).
Holy has already been guessed, it's nothing to do with Holy or Meteor. It's not Missing Score either, though that's drifting slightly more towards the answer (though still quite a ways off...)
Reposting for the new page.

Cloud's limit breaks?
A last addition to a work of art, Finishing Touch
Steep going here, beware of falling rocks. Meteorain
Screw your courage to the sticking place, Braver
And watch the nighttime spectacle in the sky.
Traverse the scars of yesterday, not sure about the order of these two
And shine a light from the sacred sword. Blade Beam
The gods grant you power to conquer all,
Smite evil with their strength at your side. Omnislash?
You got the right answer, Rantz Rantz Revolution, but your reasoning is a bit off.
"A last addition to a work of art" does refer to Finishing Touch.
"Steep going here, beware of falling rocks" refers to Climhazzard, and requires a bit of meta-knowledge. You see, the name is actually a mistranslation - the attack was supposed to be called Climb Hazard, in reference to Cloud jumping high while executing the attack. Steep going and falling rocks are common hazards in mountain climbing.
"Screw your courage to the sticking place" is indeed Braver - being brave takes courage.
"The nighttime spectacle in the sky" refers to Meteorain - the line is referring to a meteor shower.
"Traverse the scars of yesterday" is Cross-slash. Traverse = cross, scar = slash.
"Shine a light from the sacred sword" does refer to Blade Beam. Light = beam, sword = blade.
The last two lines refer to Omnislash, and its original Japanese name, which translates to something like "Super Ultimate War God Conquering Slash", hence the reference to the gods giving you power.
Nice job, well done! I never thought that one would last that long.
Cool!
I don't have anything ready. I'll work on something, but it's anyone's go if they can beat me to it.
See post below!
Do as you're told, so says red Cicero
in the snake pit, well, snake embarcadero
To augment the gain from your very next rumble
don't fret about timing, just try not to fumble
Let's just pretend the intonation is consistent in the first rhyme, shall we >.>
Catching a chocobo?
Nope.
According to Google translate, Cicero means nothing in any language, and embarcadero means "pier" in Spanish. So I'm having a hard time deciphering this riddle, though I'm guessing "red Cicero" could refer to Red XIII...
Though this brings me no closer to solving the riddle.
Cicero is a famous Roman orator. Not that I have any clue about the riddle.
Battle Square?
HOTEL CICERO
All wrong so far.
Embarcadero is an American word. ;) Cicero might be too obscure of a reference, so I'll just give that part up - Cicero is the name used in the original form of "Simon says".
Handing over the Black Materia?
Nope.
Dictionary.com defines it as an Americanism meaning "a pier, wharf, or landing place".
OH MY GOD THAT PART DURING RUFUS' PARADE WHEREYOU HAVE TO DO THAT DRILL THING?
Very close. :)
The prize you get from doing well?
Ah, it's the part where you perform with the other 2 shinra soldiers in front of Rufus and Gyahaha. A prize for doing well is Force Stealer, which greatly helps when you are on the ship, and all of this happens right in front of said ship.
:D
leaper of mortars has it! Assist by fiberytemptress.
It's not the part during the parade itself, which I believe is what you were guessing, but the part down by the boat.
Oh, I misunderstood your answer as the parade mini-game itself. Either of you can take it, I suppose.
I'll let LoM take it, as he makes awesome riddles.
If you insist, thank you :D
Past what I can call familiar,
There is a protector, the entrusted one,
But you are familiar as well.
I've fought you long ago, haven't I?
Still guarding your gold, are you?
I'm stronger now, you know?
Tell me, though. What is your name?
Is it a boss fight, or just a regular fight? I can't think of anything that the party fought "before". What enemies return? Or is it a reference to the flashback? Hmm.
This kind of makes me think of Seto and Nanaki. Seto being the 'protector' and Nanaki's familiarity and being stronger having fought alongside Avalanche.
I'm not sure where the 'guarding your gold' comes from though.
Though the way the riddle is structured it sounds like the the questions are being asked of Nanaki and Seto. Maybe by GI Nattak of the Gi tribe?
Past what I can call familiar,
Seto fought in the past, now Nanaki
There is a protector, the entrusted one,
But you are familiar as well.
Nanaki's similarity to the 'protector' Seto
I've fought you long ago, haven't I?
Again, a reference to Seto
Still guarding your gold, are you?
Gold could be a metaphor for his people. He still stands guard even though he was turned to stone
I'm stronger now, you know?
Tell me, though. What is your name?
Sounds like GI Nattak asking Nanaki's identity
Nope. I'll wait for a couple more guesses before giving a hint.
Zack?
Past what I can call familiar,
There is a protector, the entrusted one,
But you are familiar as well.
I've fought you long ago, haven't I?
Still guarding your gold, are you?
I'm stronger now, you know?
Tell me, though. What is your name?
Hmmm... maybe the something to do with Dyne and Barret?
None right so far, so I'll give a hint.
Hint1: This riddle refers to a battle. I won't tell you how it refers to a battle, however.
The only battles that spring to mind are the fight with the Materia Keeper in the Nibelheim Mountains or the battle with Red Dragon at the Temple of the Ancients?
Well, you are closer. To give a fairly large hint...
Hint2: The Materia Keeper is the "protector, the entrusted one"
Good job in getting that, but that isn't the entire riddle, by any means.
Vincent?
demons gate
No to both
Past what I can call familiar,
There is a protector, the entrusted one,
The Materia Keeper is not in the Kalm Flashback, so it's past what Cloud is familiar with. This makes me think that the answer lies somewhere within the flashback, or at least related to it.
But you are familiar as well.
I've fought you long ago, haven't I?
He fought one of those dragons I guess, the one that whips Cloud's ass.
Still guarding your gold, are you?
The only "guard" I could think of is Lost Number but I don't think that's it.
I'm stronger now, you know?
Tell me, though. What is your name?
Yeah I have no idea.
Dammit Jiro, you are so close. I'm not sure if I should just give it to you or not XD
I'm not sure, could the gold be both Gil and the Odin materia?
Don't give it to me, let us figure it out :D
Is it the dragon in the flashback that would one hit Cloud? I don;t think that has actually been a guess and Dak did mention it and you said he was so close you could almost give it to him. Also if it is right Dak can totally have the riddle!
Yes Melissaur, it is!... kinda. It's the same enemy, but it's referencing fighting the enemy again in Mt Nibel.
Past what I can call familiar,
There is a protector, the entrusted one,
This references the flashback, saying that the events of the flashback are familiar to Cloud. "Past" what he can call familiar, means that it is beyond the area of the flashback, meaning the room with the tubes and the Materia Keeper, which isn't in the flashback. Really, these 2 lines are just to allow you to think of the area, which is Mt. Nibel.
But you are familiar as well.
I've fought you long ago, haven't I?
This references the fact that, in the flashback, you fight the Dragon with Sephiroth.
Still guarding your gold, are you?
This references the fact that, traditionally, dragons will guard a large pile of gold, and also a reference to what you can steal from the dragon, a Gold Armlet.
I'm stronger now, you know?
In the flashback, Cloud is weak as hell. Now, he's stronger. That's it :p
Tell me, though. What is your name?
This is just to narrow down possible answers, letting you know that you are looking for a name, instead of something else. The name was "Dragon"
Melissaur, or Jiro, you're up! Good job, both of you :D
Well Good sir! You take it for the 98% assist. I just gobbled up the crumbs of your answer
Now that I know the answer, the clues all fall into place. I didn't realise you could steal a Gold Armlet from the dragon though! Also nice use of meta mythology too, I should've picked up on that.
Wooded groves hide this mysterious warrior
Be pragmatic, play along
Be wary of nimble fingers
Yuffie! :D
Indeed, and more specifically, the first time you meet Yuffie. If you don't play it cool, bitch runs off with your cash.
Yeah, as a kid I could never remember the things to say to her, so I'd just sit there, angry, watching my gil supply dwindle down to nothing.
This man is powerful. Can I beat him?
Maybe with speed, but the prize is not worth it.
Now my test is of precision.
Speed is useless, it's all timing.
The next two tests are... complete randomness?
How is this fair?
My next test seems like a test of patience,
but it was rather fun, I suppose.
The last three tests are... wait!
I've done these before!
The Gold Saucer games in the Wonder Square. Let me try and pick them all out.
This man is powerful. Can I beat him?
Maybe with speed, but the prize is not worth it.
Arm wrestling.
Now my test is of precision.
Speed is useless, it's all timing.
Basketball. Damn thing is hard.
The next two tests are... complete randomness?
How is this fair?
I assume this is the fortune and claw games.
My next test seems like a test of patience,
but it was rather fun, I suppose.
Mog's House is long, very long.
The last three tests are... wait!
I've done these before!
This talks about the bike, snowboard and sub minigames that you do during the main story.
Actually, it was the claw and the 3D fighter. The smurfing 3D fighter.
Anyways, correct! Your turn :D
Wow... That was quick. You going to let anyone else play this game xD
NEVER!
LoMxJiro all the way! XD
I thought it might be the fighting game, but I loathe that bastard so much I put it out of my head. Also LoMxJiro luv luv 4eva.
Drip drip drip
Beneath the stars
A sky full of dreams, wishes, promises
This is not goodbye forever
You know it baby :aimkiss:
Drip drip drip
Beneath the stars
A sky full of dreams, wishes, promises
This is not goodbye forever
I'm going to guess the Well in Nibelhiem where Tifa and Cloud made their childhood promise before Cloud left to join SOLDIER.
While correct, you are a bit late. Sorry, me and Jiro are just so synchronized together that we went back and forth. Honestly, I say that we make the perfect couple.
Anyways, here's my riddle. Unfortunately, it's one of those where I'm not really sure how hard it will be.
A prism of extreme power,
Stolen, with great skill,
from our enemy
My initial thought here was that it is an item gotten through Steal. But, I think it might be a Huge Materia, honestly.
Drat, as for the new one... By 'our enemy' do you speak of the average fight against monsters?
Yeah, I was thinking Huge Materia as well. Though I can't see any clues relating to a specific Huge Materia. I suppose they were all stolen with great skill from Shinra... hijacking a train, a submarine, a rocket and so forth...
Is the answer related to combat?
It is not Huge Materia in general, nor is it a specific Huge Materia, but it is related to combat.
Is it the materia system in general?
I have a little bit of an out-there guess, but is it Trine? I couldn't think of any materia that are stolen in any sense. Trine is prism-shaped and stolen from an enemy. And obviously related to combat. I'm not sure about "extreme power" and "great skill," though, but those could be hyperbolic descriptions.
Perhaps, Raist. I'm going to guess the Enemy Skill in general.
Correct!
A prism of extreme power,
It is a pyramidal Prism, and "extreme power" has to do with the fact that it it a lightning attack. That's electricity. That's power! :D Also it does good damage, so it's pretty powerful.
Stolen, with great skill,
It's stolen from a monster, and "Great skill" refers to Enemy skill! They both have skill in them! Hurr, I'm so clever :p
from our enemy
It's stolen from an enemy.
Raistlin, your turn.
Ah, very well done! That was a clever one indeed.
Ok, here's my first attempt at a riddle
At the end of your wooded journey
lies the end of everything;
a surpassing energy,
hastening your power
At the end of your wooded journey suggests to me that we're in the Ancient Forest. The second line 'end of everything' makes me think of the apocalypse.
I'm pretty sure one of the items at the end of the Ancient Forest is the Apocalypse Sword. So that's my guess.
That would have been my guess, as well.
Damn, I guess my riddle was too easy. Yes, it's the Apocalypse. The last two lines referenced it's triple growth trait.
Your go, Bubba.
Bubba?
Sorry for the delay! Right, err...
I'm right after a rumble
but still in the middle
What stage will you crumble?
My name ends this Riddle
Can you keep moving?
You know I won't blink
I'll write down your exploits
in a style to make you think!
Is it the Battle Arena in the Gold Saucer?
It's not the battle arena
Right after a rumble... that's either "right after a boss fight" or literal rumbling. Maybe it's fighting Diamond Weapon?
Sorry Dak, it's not that either. I'll await a couple more guesses then I'll give a clue.
I'm trying to think of who would "write down your exploits". "Still in the middle" also makes me think either geographically or chronologically, ie it's in the center of the map or somewhere on the second disk.
"Still in the middle" might relate to being in between two sides - not just chronologically or geographically.
"Write down your exploits" makes me think of a written material - such as a report or a journal.
The last two lines are not related to the game in any way... just to the answer (ie. name).
The first six lines though are all directly related to the game.
I'm right after a rumble
but still in the middle
What stage will you crumble?
My name ends this Riddle
Can you keep moving?
You know I won't blink
I'll write down your exploits
in a style to make you think!
Is it the Save Point?
It's not the save point.
Clue: it relates to a particular battle.
Is there a hint within the riddle? I mean, is there a reason for 'riddle' to be capitalized?
No, there's no significance to riddle being capitalised. The fourth line has no hidden meaning.
Shot in the dark here.
The battle where you can get Yuffie? I have a reason behind this choice, but I don't feel like explaining.
Thanks for explaining, Sephex!
It's not that battle but you're the closest so far with your answer.
Okay, then maybe it is the battle with Shake in the Pagoda.
You couldn't possibly get any closer. But not quite!
Then it's probably Chekhov. If true, Sephex can have it.
Yuffie's father, Godo?
Nope!
I'm right after a rumble
but still in the middle
What stage will you crumble?
My name ends this Riddle
Can you keep moving?
You know I won't blink
I'll write down your exploits
in a style to make you think!
....
The boss battle in the weird ass mountain range in Wuta? Uh, Rapps, I think the name of the boss was?
Is it the Pagoda as a whole?
It's not Rapps but LoM is close again with the Pagoda.
It relates to a specific battle
Ohhhhhhhhh. The fight with the Shinra Grunts after Don runs out on you. Don Corneo strikes again.
Uh, is it Chekhov? I believe it was mentioned before.... Bubba, maybe you can post the hints and incorrect guesses (as BG does at times)?
Ooops... yeah, Chekhov is right Shinwa. I didn't realise that Karifean had the correct answer though... I missed the last answer on the previous page!
I'm right after a rumble
You fight Chekhov immediately after Shake. Another word for 'rumble'
but still in the middle
Chekhov is the middle fight at the Pagoda
What stage will you crumble?
This just refers to the process of defeating the five Gods
My name ends this Riddle
Straight forward. Chekhov's name is the answer
Can you keep moving?
You know I won't blink
These two lines refer to Chekhov's main move 'Stare Down' which causes paralysis
I'll write down your exploits
in a style to make you think!
This might have thrown some of you. In the real world, Anton Chekhov is famous author/playwright known for writing challenging literature
I believe Karifean passed the next riddle on to Sephex. But as Shinwa got the answer as well... I suppose either of you can take it. We'll just see who gets there first!
I won't take it. Rather, I don't deserve it because I got my characters mixed up in the pagoda.
Ahaha, that's interesting. Let me see...
I am home for two,
Within me - a third.
When you visit me these days,
Wonder will you weather....
Was I not destroyed?
What is my name?
The style doesn't mean anything.
The Chocobo Sage?
Nope. It's not a person.
Random guess...Mideel
No, but your guess is close - to a degree.
Temple of the Ancients.
Nibelheim
Leader of Mortals, you are correct.
Would you like to include your reasoning, Morta? Or should I?
I am home for two,
Within me - a third.
When you visit me these days,
Wonder will you weather....
Was I not destroyed?
Really, I only got it from the line "Was I not destroyed". After realizing that, I looked at the first line and figured that the "two" were Cloud and Tifa, and that the "Third" may be Zack.
As for my riddle...
It envelops all, and all is lost.
A light tap
Will bring the world back from certain destruction.
The crimson man did it, wielding his power of lightning.
Magic, strong magic, or is it just technology? Hard to say, these days.
Yet another that I have no idea the difficulty of.
The pyramid spell Reno casts on you?
It sounds to me like the lifestream getting converted into mako energy. I'm not sure that all the clues fit with it though...
It envelops all,
The lifestream of the planet
and all is lost.
Shinra are killing the planet by extracting it
A light tap
Will bring the world back from certain destruction.
I'm not sure about 'a light tap' but if it is all extracted then the planet will be destroyed
The crimson man did it, wielding his power of lightning.
President Shinra wears red and he developed the reactors to convert the lifestream to mako energy
Magic, strong magic, or is it just technology? Hard to say, these days.
This reminds me of the Huge Materia produced in the heart of mako reactors
Am I anywhere near or am I talking absolute bollocks?
Well, I was thinking Vincent as the third one.
It envelops all, and all is lost. A reference to the Shin-Ra company, weather or not they produced the answer is a question.
A light tap
Will bring the world back from certain destruction. A 'light tap' would stop the production of Materia, either by knocking out the company or something else.
The crimson man did it, wielding his power of lightning. Shin-Ra is an electric company, and the 'crimson man' could be either President Rufus Shinra or his father - I'm not sure where you're heading with the 'crimson' as it could refer to many things.
Magic, strong magic, or is it just technology? Hard to say, these days. Magic created by technology, so I'm thinking Materia.
My guess: Materia in general.
FieryTempest got it.
It envelops all, and all is lost.
It "Envelops" you, and, if it gets all of you, you lose.
A light tap
Hitting it...
Will bring the world back from certain destruction.
... will make it go away, which means you don't die in the fight.
The crimson man did it, wielding his power of lightning.
Reno has red hair, and another attack of his is electro-rod
Magic, strong magic, or is it just technology? Hard to say, these days.
The electro-rod was probably technological attack rather than a magical one.
FieryTempest, it's your turn.
Ha! Brilliant!
Loving the pointless essays by me and Shinwa. Your go, FT!
Someone else can take this one. :)
You wanna take it, Bubba?
Nah, I'm too wasted. It's all yours Shinwa x
I posted Nibelheim, not looking at LoM's post, but....it was really awkward and I felt like a loser..
You see me often,
My relatives are vast with time.
Miners find me to be a blast,
Be wise around me nonetheless.
That's my riddle. If no one gets it after five guesses I'll give a hint.
You see me often,
My relatives are vast with time.
Miners find me to be a blast,
Be wise around me nonetheless.
Is it a bomb, and the palette swaps?
Miners find bombs to be a blast, there are palette swaps of them in the game, if I remember, and they grow larger in time, unless you are wise to kill them quickly.
The answer is Bomb. You see them in nearly every FF game, I was referring to the fact that the 'relatives' were originally only the Granade - but they have grown to include Touchy Bomb, Ice Bomb, and others. It is wise to kill them, as long as you don't use fire. By Miners find me to be a blast I was referring to the fact that they can be found at Mt. Corel, the fact that real world miners causes blasts to get their gems and whatnot, and one of the Bomb's ability - the Bomb Blast.
It's your turn Morta.
My subordinates may sing their own praises
By shouting their strengths,
But this changes here!
Everything is my strength!
Go on, say it with me! Sing my strength!
The entire riddle makes me think that the answer is a leader of a group. Hm, I'm going to guess Rufus Shinra.
Could it be Master Materia?!
My subordinates may sing their own praises
By shouting their strengths,
But this changes here!
Everything is my strength!
Go on, say it with me! Sing my strength!
I thought of it this way.
The first 2 lines mean like: Ifrit is awesome. And Shiva is awesome.
The 3rd line is the transition to master materia.
the 4th and 5th mean: Why not just equip me cuz I have all of the summoning awesomeness.
No to both. I'll give a hint after another guess or two.
Uh, what are we looking for? A location? Sentient creature? Other?
I'm going to guess Professor Gast, if only to get him out of the way.
It isn't Professor Gast.
Hint 1: The riddle commands you to "Sing my strength!". This is the answer.
Great Gospel?
red XIII´s Lunatic high?
No to Great Gospel, and no to Lunatic High.
Uh, 'sing my strength' seems similar to 'sing him praise' however there might be an monster you battle which has an ability that is named Sing. My guess is the green Touch Me frog.
Morta, I'll ask again: What are we looking for? An ability? A monster? What?
It is not the Touch Me frog, nor does it have to do with Frog Song at all.
But, you are correct in thinking that "Sing my strength" is to "Sing my praises". You aren't actually singing, though. This is based on the idiom of singing praise, which is simply to praise someone(but it sounds nice :D). The subordinates of the person in the riddle sing their own praises, and the person commands you(not Cloud and party, you: The one reading the riddle) to sing his praises with him.
Hm.... Looks like the answer is a character then, correct?
I'll guess Don Coreno (the pervert).
It's not Don Corneo.
A member of the Shin-Ra heads? I'm going to guess Rufus's father.
Sephiroth?
It's none of the Shinra Executives, nor is it Sephiroth.
Hm.... Arthur and the Knights of the Round?
It's not the Knights of the Round.
Hint: The answer is not a person, but it relates strongly to a person.
The Church in the Sector 5 Slums? It's linked strongly to Aerith.....
It isn't the church.
One-Winged Angel
It's not One-Winged Angel.
In a couple more guesses, I'll give a fairly large hint.
My first thought was Rufus's Welcoming Parade, but someone guessed Rufus and I assume that lom would've at least mentioned it was close. So I'm going to go with... the Reunion.
My subordinates may sing their own praises
By shouting their strengths,
But this changes here!
Everything is my strength!
Go on, say it with me! Sing my strength!
The Phantom of the Opera?
Is that in the game, firetempest?
Uh, okay. Must replay the game then....
It's not the Phantom of the Opera, but good guess!
Edit: It's also not Reunion.
Where is the hint?!
I wonder what 'changes here'?
I'm going to guess Sephiroth - not sure if he was was guessed before....
"Changes here" isn't too important to the answer. Also, it doesn't have anything to do with Sephiroth.
Hint: The answer is not tangible
The only things that are 'not tangible' are spirits of sorts, my guess is the Lifestream.
It's not the Lifestream, and tangible means that it can be sensed by touch. The answer can not be touched.
Is there some boost you can use in battle but only on yourself? To make you stronger?
Could it be Fury Brand?
It's not Fury Brand, and, FieryTempest, you're not on the right track.
After a couple more guesses, I'll give another hint, that furthers the last hint.
>:(
tempest out!
(lom you make really good riddles <3)
Hm... Spirit Boost?
It's not Spirit Boost.
Hint: The answer is something heard by the party.
My subordinates may sing their own praises
By shouting their strengths,
But this changes here!
Everything is my strength!
Go on, say it with me! Sing my strength!
i have no idea... Caith sith´s megaphone?
Um...
Rufus' parade theme?
Let me see..... The answer is:
» something untouchable for the player
» battle related
» you, the player, are commanded to 'sing praise' of the answer
Anything else I'm forgetting?
edit
The answer is:
» something untouchable for the player
» battle related
» you, the player, are commanded to 'sing praise' of the answer
» something heard by the party
» It's not Fury Brand
It's not the megaphone or Rufus's Parade Theme.
Also, Shinwa, it's not battle related, but...
Hint: The answer is heard before a boss battle.
´combat mode activated´?
