HE IS HOOTERS
AHHHHH
Who is HOOTERS?
*magic*Quote:
How do you even know who HOOTERS is?
I've noticed that two to three threads like this are left open throughout a year, generally for the same purpose.Quote:
This thread is only still open because I think the entire Staff feels that it's important that the general public realize how bannings usual take place, and it isn't just a sudden, "hey let's ban him/her!" sorta thing. There's a process.
Would you prefer Hootenanny?Quote:

Not nearly as many as HOORJ got.
Oh yeah, I always have to dig that one out, don't I? Considering how pissed off I got about the backlash from that, it's always me who brings it back up XD
I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but I feel somewhat responsible (and aroused!) about the stricter banning policies EoFF has been under the last year or two. HOORJ was, in my eyes at least, the first of the people no one really wanted to ban, really popular in the public's eyes, but utterly deserved it. No one on staff wanted to do it, except me, and I'm a pissy little bitch, so I banned him. People kicked up a fuss (amusingly enough, one or two of whom are now staff and have had to do exactly the same thing), but when it all came down to it, the only recompense any of the staff suffered is we realised how, well, bad things had gotten. And I totally got pissed off at everyone too. But as I said, I'm a pissy bitch.
Now, staff don't hesitate in banning people they may even like. They don't enjoy doing it, but they will if they have to. Gone are the days when they'd dither and waffle over it. If edczxcvbnm were to join EoFF these days and act how he used to when he was relatively new, he'd be banned. He doesn't like admitting it, but he's mellowed and matured over the years, and is a good member of the forums.
That harder edge, that show of backbone, I like to think I'm responsible for that, by example.
Or maybe I'm totally wrong and just have a big ego. XD
I don't mind banning anyone. In fact I enjoy banning in order to get my name on the ban list as much as possible.
Actually I was talking about this part.
That part wins...
Oh and...
HOOTERS. XP
I miss Spatvark being the authoritative op in #eoff. :(
It's more fun when it's public though. My brother didn't do all that faffing around getting warnings etc. He made his banning as public as he could. He was caring for the community. We witnessed his banning, an those of us who are great cried with sadness. An those who are lame tried to cry with joy, but didn't want to dedicate the time to it, because there was brown nosing to be done.
Yeah, let's all have fun at someone else's expense :mad2:Quote:

I take it that you're new to this thing called 'the internet'.
No, just institutionalized to the workings of EOFF.
You don't know what you're missing out, there's a whole wide internet of hilarity out there, purely based on the stupidity and deviancies of it's users.
Her brother was the entertaining and endlessly amusing LUKEJAKE17 and the way he got banned was truly astonishing. No messing about from him. He told everyone exactly what he thought of them and even started singing a song by The Stranglers in one of his Posts. There is absolutely no way he should have been Banned if ya ask me, because he would have kept this place alive right now!
By the way... who are you as well Lindy? Never heard of ya.
I'd laugh if you were funny, and I actually knew who the hell you were.
