I didn't really know Cid, so I can't say. But this is no great loss. AO stabilized after a while, and the user base is huge now. So, Her Magesty's Agent Umaro's little horror story can be disregarded. spDude knows what he's doing. And this transition seems to be going smoothly so I have no complaints. I dunno. I can see Lynx's point. I don't really want a huge user base. I like the small tightly knit community we have here. You know, our few enough regular users. Newbies everyonce in a while. It is nice. If anything, a few to many newbies. But I can't really speak, I used to be one. And probably wasn't the favorite newbie ever. The occasional burst of newbies isn't so bad once they sort themselves out and either stick or go. But I do like it small.

This site needs to grow.. It actually used to have a whole lot more traffic, before the mass bannings came into action. That and Elitisim, It kills every forum and turns discussion boards into a pavilion of the select few who always manage to reply to each other but somehow ignore the entire rest of the community. Lets not have that in EoFF
