I believe they did. There has been a lot of discussion and "proof" tossed around by both sides, but after weighing it all, I think we landed on the moon.
considering with a high enough powered telescope people have actually seen the flag on the moon... yeah

Yeah, I thought the way a telescope gathers light prevents us from seeing the flag on the moon. It's one of the common conspiracy theory "proofs". They say you can't see the flag with a telescope, therefor we didn't land. The rebuttal is that telescopes gather light and the flag ends up "bleached out" of the image. Most people think that a telescope acts like a giant magnifying glass, which isn't really true.Quote:

Yes, they landed on the moon. The fact that some people are so paranoid they've convinced themselves otherwise bugs me.
It wasn't staged. Those weren't actors. That wasn't a boom mic, it was an alien. Etc.
The moon landings were as much a conspiracy as 9/11.
