EoFF Clue - Round Four Day One results are up

This will be a fun logic game that anyone can join in on at any time. For those of you that aren't familiar with Clue, after a murder you have a list of people, places and weapons and you have to figure out the unique combination of the three to see whodunit, where and with what. We'll be using a similar format here. People can guess one combination of the available items. I'll periodically post, most likely once a day or so, but we'll call it a game day, what each person's guess is and how many parts of the combination are correct, but not which ones. The first one to guess the correct combination wins that round and it's on to another one.

Let me give a quick example:
Weapons: Knife, Gun, Club
Suspects: Man, Woman
Locations: Bathroom, Bedroom
Actual Combination: Club, Woman, Bathroom (She did the dude in on the pooper because women are evil like that)

Game day one guesses:

As it's now game day two, the people playing can either choose dumb luck or apply some logic problem skills to the responses to try and determine what is or isn't part of the combination and submit their game day two guess.

Rules:

• Mark your guesses as ##Guess (Mafia-style)
• I'll only accept your first guess and if your guest post is modified I won't accept it (so people don't modify it later on if someone else figures it out in a later post)

You get one guess between when I reveal how many correct parts there are in each person's guess.

Basically everyone guesses, I reveal the count of correct parts in each guess(unless someone nails it) and then everyone guesses again, etc...

I put that rule in because I didn't want someone making a guess, then two hours later someone posts the correct combination, the first person realizes that, then edits their post and steals the second person's glory.

Does that make sense? Maybe it's an unnecessary rule...

Nono, it's cool. I just got the original impression that you would have us guess once at any point of the game and unless it was exactly right, you were out of the game for good. Or something. But it made sense the more I thought about it and I figured you meant that we're allowed one guess per 'game day' or whatever.

That's a good way of putting it; one guess per game day. You definitely need to be able to perform several guesses to solve the puzzle(from a logic puzzle standpoint, maybe you'll be a lucky punk).

EDIT: Actually, to help show how the game works, I'll close a game day right now, post the results and we'll start a new day. Hopefully that will help remove any confusion.

Mully, you've smurfed up. In the day 1 results you said that the FF1 forums was not one of the hideouts.In the day 2 results you said that only 1 of the things said in the bit I quoted from that day was right. In the day 3 results you said 5 things were correct. Now going by the day1 results, the FF1 part is incorrect, but the day 2 results show that the Azar or blackmage_nuke bit is incorrect. So the number of correct things said is off in the parts I quoted.

Day one said that FFI is not the hideout of Lunch #1. Each guess is for either lunch 1 or 2, not both. Sorry if there was any confusion.

FYI - The combinations are truly random, so if you're suspecting a humorous or some such combination, like "It would be funny if Lev stole Psychotic's lunch, so I'll guess that", guess again. :p

We've got problems folks. As many of you know, Rubah's brought the Dragcave plague to EoFF and signatures everywhere are infested with the little buggers. Levian, Loony BoB, Rantzien, ShunNakamura and Sir Lancealot thought it would be a great practical joke to let a bunch of them loose in General Chat. Now we have a bunch of dragons loose in various threads and we need to get everything cleaned up.

This time, for each culprit, we need to know who's dragon did they steal, what type of dragon is it and in which thread did they leave it so we can get it back to its proper signature. Thus, each game day you will submit five guesses where you will make five unique combinations of the items below for each culprit.

I forgot to inspect the last guesses, oh well. Anyways, you can only use each item one in only one combination. Otherwise your guess will be invalid.

I've been away for too long. This round is confusing me :kaodizzy: I'll play the next one.

I didn't realize that this one would be so daunting. Maybe I'll put it on the back-burner and set up a simpler one along the same lines as a warm-up. ;)
