Weird/Unexpected gifts

For the holiday, did you receive any odd or unexpected presents from anyone? Ones that made you wonder what the hell it is, what you're going to do with it, or where you're going to place it? Why the person gave it to you in the first place? Ones that you did not expect to receive from that particular person you received them from?

My boyfriend received a Zombie Survival Guide from his mother! I thought it was a silly and unexpected gift from a mother to a son. But apparently, she's just looking out for him.

I, um, got a reflective armstrap. Again. I got one at my birthday a month ago and one this Christmas. From the same person. :erm:

Not for Christmas, but my brother got his gf a minute maid shirt.

It's a carton of Minute Maid juice with an orange on the side.

I got some of those armwarmer thingies from topshop :o

It might not be weird on its own, but I seriously got a gift card from all but one person in my extended family. It's nice, and they were mostly appropriate (the one to Target was wtf though), but I really need cash lately, since I'm a poor college student.

I did not expect a houndstooth checked insulated vest with a furry hood from stu's mom, but I'm going to make the best of it xD

I got three presents. One was a $25 gift card to.

I received a bar of soap and my mother got a half a bottle of used lotion from her sister.

I got these awesomely tacky purple pajamas xD

I got the weirdest flipflops from my father. They're blue, and covered in fake grapes. Plus there's also a small plastic banana on it, a butterfly, a lily looking flower thing, and handful of other stuff.

I honestly hope it was something of a gag gift because I laughed for a good ten minutes straight.

I got a 2 lb carton of assorted licorice candies...

Gross.

Weirdest: romance novel about a pimp and a dominatrix (smurfing Mormons)

Most unexpected: a marshmallow gun (we all unwrapped a bag of marshmallows and were like 'wtf?', then the gifters ran out and pelted us with their marshmallow guns before giving us ours; a battle ensued)

wait, is that the next book in the twilight series, shlup?

I'm going to pretend it is, if that counts. *gets out her white out and pen*

Nothing really unexpected or odd this year.

My uncle grabbed a present from under the tree and threw it at me. Of course, I missed it and it made a bunch of noise like broken glass. My uncle ducked in to the kitchen while I opened it to find... A bunch of broken glass, some rocks, a pumpkin, and some sticks.




And $50 taped to the lid.


Needless to say it was by far the strangest present I've received since my father made me a birthday cake one year... Just to find out that he ran out of wrapping paper so he just covered my gift with frosting.
