Gayness
I'm not gay myself, but I come across a lot of gay students in my lessons (let's face it - there aren't many hetrosexual male harpists around). They generally are accepted by society at large.
Oh man I hate those people.
What rights don't they have? I'm pretty sure Gays are treated like anybody else unless you happen across a biggot.
Well, homos can't get married, for one. It's difficult to adopt as well. My town has no hate crime or discrimination laws pertaining to homos at all, which means people can do a great deal to a gay person without very big consequences. :(
Anyway, all gays get AIDS and die anyway so it doesn't matter. Let's just wait out their inevitable deaths and put the controversy to rest.
I find this thread to be discriminatory. How come us straighties are treated like second class citizens? It's not on, I tell you.
:unicorn:
I'm glad I chose this alternative lifestyle. :)
He was being sarcastic! :p
And what's all this I've been hearing about gay marriage? How come I've never heard anything about straight marriage? The gays have control of the media and Washington. It's a conspiracy against my people!
You heterosexuals are so whiny about everything. I suppose you're going to make a sign and bitch in a megaphone now.
It's nice to talk to somebody who doesn't chat about breasts constantly, I guess. I don't know many gay people though.
I think gayness is great! I think the world is overpopulated as it is and if everyone was more ok with people being gay and treated it as the norm then most wouldnt have to hide who they are there wouldnt be as many pregnancies and such.
Further more i have no idea what LGBT stands for so for all i know this may be some inside joke that i dont get
This is my favorite thread.
I don't mind them really but I'm afraid if one bites me I might turn into one. :(
I'm in between B and G but I'm a lot closer to G so I just identify as gay to keep it simplified.
:p
wait, laddy said member. Does this mean there is a little secret society? A Homosexual Agenda so to speak?

Which ones are the Gays again? The ones from Mexico or the terr'ists? I can't keep up with all the minorities Rush Limbaugh tells me to hate.
Someone told me gay people have no knees.
Obviously the smartest man EVER.

I don't understand the whole 'We're here, we're queer, get used to it' mentality. You don't see that many straight people these days (at least I don't) with a 'We're straight, we hate, get used to it' attitude.
I guess a better way to say it is 'Why identify yourself by your sexuality?' Why label yourselves?
That being said, I'm not gay, but it's totally cool with me if anyone else is. We've all got our preferences.
maybe when people stop assuming that everyone is het, leading to awkward situations, jussie
maybe
Your sexuality is not an incidental aspect of yourself. It directly influences your interactions with others of all sexes and genders, as well as your specific experiences throughout your life. Identifying yourself by your sexuality therefore makes about as much sense as going by anything else.

This thread has too many spam posts. I'ma start deleting them.
A gay guy asked Chemical if I was gay she said no lolololololol
Don't you mean... UMI_BUTTERFLY?!!?!
I loves me some radical queer action.
Not all queers are like that. Also, I can understand that mentality a lot. Whereas in North America and other regions, queers rights have made a lot of progress, there is still a long way to go. A handful of states in the USA have legalized gay marriage. Canada's own Prime Minister has made attempts to revoke or modify gay marriages. Heck, even older equality movements, such as racial and women movements, have yet to achieve perfect equality and might never.
Also, simply because you identify as gay or queer does not mean you do not identify as other things too. We all identify at some point as something, though none of those labels will tell the whole truth of who you are.
My best friends are all gay/bi :p
that's a pretty interesting blog, aisle, thanks for the link!
I don't care for bisexual men.
Within the realm of dating.
As a people LGBT they are fine as long as they do not invade my personal space or life
What is all this LGBT talk. You make sexual preferences sound like a model of Harley Davidson.
You'll be amazed over finding out that in #eoff, this thread topic would be wordfiltered to something completely different. Yay fascism.
I'm cool with gays apart from the 'gay voice'. You know what I'm talking about, that eunuch-esque, slow drawl with a lisp. SPEAK PROPERLY FOR CHRISSAKES
My family was killed by a gang of gay circus clowns.
Gay people are cool. I mean, having a gay guy friend who doesn't drool all over you is definitely nice. ^^
