What are your thoughts on misleading titles?
Should they be changed to suite the actual topic of the thread, or does changing them ruin the flavor they may have had?

I don't see the point in changing them, to be honest. If you click it ans it's not what you expected, click away.
I love surprises!
It's like a hook in a newspaper! It's vaguely what the topic is but it hooks you in so you can't leave a boring article/thread.
"OHHH you're already interested, read the rest of the thread!"
I'm still upset at someone changing Shiny's birthday thread title. :(
Bonus points if your title tricks someone into posting off-topic.
I won't click it if it's boring.
I like to change boring thread titles to be misleading
