I cant imagine any of the characters with english voices however for some reason I can mentally picture them in my head in anime form with japanese voices.

I'm not sure how I would feel about VA for this game. I'm probably one of the few people on the forum who doesn't care for Terra's VA in Dissidia cause she sounds too bubbly and precocious at times and Terra to me has always come across as someone who should be very melancholic.
Kefka's VA was pretty good but I feel he needs to make his jumps from high (playful) to deep low (menacing) much more pronounced. It would add more to his creepy factor. I kinda still wish that Crispin Freeman got the role but that's me I guess.
I couldn't even imagine who to get for other people...
The last thing I'd want for any game is a cast of easily recognizable celebrity voices, because, then, the character and voice actor merge a little in my head -- even more so if the voice actor looks like the character he/she is portraying.
A good example of what I mean is Phil in Disney's Hercules. That guy is just Danny DeVito to me, not Phil.
I liked Terra and Kefka's voice actors in Dissidia, so I wouldn't mind them if they made a full-voiced remake of this game.
As for other characters, I've always imagined Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (The Major from Ghost in the Shell) as Celes.
That name sounds familiar. Is she also the woman who did the vocals for the Silent Hill songs?Quote:

No, I haven't seen it, but I've heard of it. I think Brendan Fraser as Locke would fit really well! He has a jocky type voice that works well for Locke's stature. As for Brad Pitt as Sabin, I dunno. I know I would want him to sound debonair, but I just can't fathom slurry Brad voicing Sabin.
There is only one man who should play Kefka and that's Jim Carrey.
Tim Curry has already played an evil clown. But Jim - the Riddler - Carrey would be perfect for Kefka.
So if he could be Kefka in a real Final Fantasy VI movie, he could be his voice in an Final Fantasy VI remake as well.

I really wouldn't want famous voice actors because I personally would find that highly distracting. However, the problem you come across with this is the fact that this will likely never happen anyways due to SE's policy of hiring "voice actors" who work part time at the Dollar Tree store. I've given up on expecting good English voice acting for any SE game [not even going to go into the even-worse voice acting for Tri-Ace games, even though those are technically SE too]. Some games would just be plain better-off without voice acting at all.

Anyway, even if anyone famous was possible for a remake of sorts, there aren't many I'd want to see in it. Guys like Jim Carrey in particular are almost too recognizeable as themselves, and it becomes very difficult to see and hear them and not constantly be thinking about the fact that you're watching Jim Carrey rather than the character he's playing.

I must agree that Kefka should be played by Tim Curry, but in his Rocky Horror Picture Show voice.
This is starting to sound like... a certain other topic that I don't want to mention. Anyways, I'm glad that none of these ideas are ever going to happen.
