Every now and then, I pay attention to stuff, and I realise I'm pretty freaking old. I've been here since 2005! And it always makes me :eek: when I look at some members that I swear have been here for ages and it turns out that I'm significantly older than them.
Oldbies: Discuss how old you are.
Regulars: Discuss how completely average it is standing on the middle ground.
Newbies: Discuss what's it's like seeing people who have been here for freaking years.
It is pretty average to be standing here on this middle ground. But at least the view is nice.

I'm an "oldbie" and I do feel kind of old. But that's more because I still haven't accomplished anything in life.

Being in the middle reminds me of sandwiches and that just plain makes me hungry.
Wow. I'm older than oddler, but younger than Jiro and NCG. I honestly thought that was the other way round. In my head, oddler is in the same category as the 2002/2003ers, whereas Jiro and NCG are both in 2007/2008.
Age has nothing to do with experience. :jokey:

Actually, it disheartens me to see that even though I've been around (so to speak) for nigh on a decade that I'm really towards the young/middling age range.

I had an account around 2002, but I forgot my password AND my username so I had to create another one ! At the time I remember talking FF6 a lot with "The Man".
Anyway, Citizen Bleys, I sympathize with you, I will turn 26 soon. And Quin, at 19 years old, when you're not even finished growing, you can't say you're old ! :P

I felt young when I joined (because I was) and still feel relatively so (except for the back problems/argyle socks/mint love). Guh, I have been here seven years this month and have nothing to show for it. Except maybe a bruised ego and an odd appreciation of walruses.

Sometimes I'm really glad I didn't get here sooner. I think part of what makes EoFF so lovely is that it's aged well. Some of the "younger" forums I've frequented are pretty lame. The only one I'm still active at is Court Records and it's full of stuff like CLAIM ANIME BISHIES THREAD. That in itself isn't so bad. They have fun with it and I don't have to look at it if I don't want to. What's really grating are threads that go like
"This places has gotten so lame, why isn't it cool like it was when I joined six months ago?"

I disappear and return just long enough to get used to the new faces and catch up on who the smurf changed their name to "BananaRaisin" and who got banned and then I vanish again until my next return. I always come back eventually though.............. always.
