Sometimes I'm really glad I didn't get here sooner. I think part of what makes EoFF so lovely is that it's aged well. Some of the "younger" forums I've frequented are pretty lame. The only one I'm still active at is Court Records and it's full of stuff like CLAIM ANIME BISHIES THREAD. That in itself isn't so bad. They have fun with it and I don't have to look at it if I don't want to. What's really grating are threads that go like

"This places has gotten so lame, why isn't it cool like it was when I joined six months ago?"
"Shut up newbie, you can complain when you've got a year under your belt."
"I WAS HERE IN 200X WHEN WE STARTED ALL Y'ALLS CAN JUST SHUT IT"

I mean that sort of thing would really not fly here xD
