VG Babe Tournament 3

Hello. Welcome to the third VG Babe Tournament out of four of the year. In the first Tournament, the winner was Rider from the visual novel game Fate/stay night, available for the PC and PS2. The winner of the second Tournament was Cloche Leythal Pastalia of Ar tonelico II. Now for the third time we will be having a tournament featuring 128 video game girls from a number of games vying for a chance to join the last two winners and another for a chance to be this year's number one video game babe. You are free to vote on however criteria you want.

Anyway, voting will be done in thread, so just post your votes. If you are sponsoring a babe, you are free to post pics to campaign for your babe to get votes from others. The point is to convince others why they should vote for your sponsored babe. We'll do one Division at a time, in the first round, there are eight groups of four girls. You will have to vote for one and the girl with the most votes will advance to the next round where it will go one on one. Should be simple enough.

Anyway, if you want to sponsor a babe, you have the first couple days to do so. But you are only allowed to claim one person, so make it fast before someone else does. Anyway, I think you would want to see our list for this tournament, so let's get to that!

1. B. Orchid - Why, cause I'm probably one of a small group old enough to remember Killer Instinct and the fact this babes chesticles make her opponents explode. ;)

2. Alyx Vance - So this whole tournament doesn't become a complete Anime babe fest, and besides, I feel we need to appreciate the good female character designs that do come from western developers cause they are so rare.

3. Kika - Cause she is seriously one of the best things about Suikoden IV and her VA is the same as the Major which makes her w-sexy.

7. Luna - cause you need to know your anime girl gaming roots. Luna was the first anime JRPG hottie we all dreamed about back in the day and she's still super sexy and cute.

8. Rose - Cause she's one of the coolest SF characters to emerge from the Alpha series and she's hot. Even if her anti-shoto technique has forced me to throw my controller and curse at the scree, I just take one look into those big, round gorgeous (SPOILER)eyes (what did you think I was going to say?) and it makes everything feel alright.

(SPOILER)I'm going to willingly call handicap on this topic haha. See I've actually had time with Leanne as a character in-game. I adore her as a person, which makes me adore her looks more-so. Which is how she managed to edge out KOS-MOS with me, as I adore KOS-MOS. Hi-tech, weaponized, android women are high on my imagination's list of wants. But she doesn't come equipped with the personality to accentuate the package like Leanne does

As for poor Mio. At least I experienced a game with KOS-MOS. I've never dealt with or heard of Mio before she came up as Babe of the Week :) So I'm totally willing to concede that she may be better than Leanne. (She's definitely got the looks to stand up to, or even surpass her). She's just not as well exposed. So if she loses, the loss can likely be attributed to ignorant voters, rather than just being "out-babe'd". So it would merely be a case of bad luck, rather than out-right losing

Since there is no reason to spoiler the KOS-MOS discussion, she had a great personality that develops over time. I'd actually say by the end she had one of the strongest personalities in the game, though that involves sitting through all three. ;p

SHe was definately in my top for this bracket, and would have won out over Mio for me, by a good margin.

This has been a rather lacking tournament overall which is probably due to the timing, so I would somewhat agree with your disappointment. The next tourney/bracket should be more exciting and promising. Hopefully, it will also have a better voter turnout than this one. :p

Also, note that judging Mio by Yu's route is like judging Sakura by UBW. :p *realises that very few will get that reference* Basically... Yu's route is the route in which Mio appears the least and plays the smallest role.

Oh uh! There seems to be a slight of a problem! Due to confusion, a mistake was made with the results for the Semi-Finals (the Final Four). As it is, the current results stand as (4-3) with Mio Kifune winning. Apparently, the actual results would correctly be 4-4 ending up with a tie between Mio and Leanne. Now, as we all know, Mio ended up winning the tournament so this may pose a problem for us. However, it was also discovered in this mistake that my votes were now counted for in the results, because the other match-up in the Semi Finals was also 4-3, with Pascal winning. Fortunately, she would still win with my vote included, so the focus is on the Mio and Leanne match-up. So we've decided to keep the results as is, canceling out my votes in the round.

tl;dr version: We smurfed up the Final Four results. Proto's votes was not counted! We're keeping the results though. Mio wins.
