Justice League of the Internet...assemble!

Fellow citizens! Your forums have once again called upon you to deliver great justice! 5 years ago we successfully defended EoFF from danger, but evil is again afoot and it is up to us to stop it. Together we can dispatch trolls with punches of unfazedness, spambots with kicks to the trash, and flamers with icy cold waters of mediation.

This is an election party, but it is also much more than that. Because we are not just trying to win the elections, we are trying to

WIN THE FUTURE!

This party stands for:

• Justice
• Truth
• The warn button
• Ban hammers
• Repping posts that take down the forces of EVIL
• Puppies

So if you want to sign up, make sure you tell me your hero name and hero power. I will change your name in order to keep your true identity a secret. All heroes must do this. It's the law, and heroes must up hold the law.

But wait...there's more!

Do you prefer sarcasm over sincerity? Do you enjoy spending your time multi-quoting every post that disagrees with you? Do you get a rush every time you notice someone's grammar is wrong? Then you you might actually be a villain, and not fit for the JLI. But that's ok, every hero team needs a villain team.

If you wish to be a villain and join the Brotherhood of Elitists, feel free to do so. The JLI and BoT are both part of the same party, like two sides of the same coin. One cannot exist without the other. If you do wish to be a villain, say so and state your villain name and villain occupation (all villains have some sort of weird occupation).

Where would SD be without his classic villains? I should email those old boys and see if they want to play. I bet Nait would.

If you get Yams back in here to goof, I will abandon every other part for this one.

I fully approve of any venture towards increasing activity by means of bringing back old members, however I notice a distinct lack of gestures towards bringing in new members. It's apparent in today's world that old-style heroes are no longer accepted by the masses, whilst new-style heroes - dark, gritty types - are all the rage. What are your thoughts on this? Will you change in order to gain more members? If not, what methods do you intend to use in order to gain the majority vote?

I apologize, Captain Chocobo, if my recruitment ad was misleading. The JLI welcomes heroes and villains of any type, old and new. Every team needs some 'dark gritty' heroes to balance out those of us who shine brightly as beacons of justice. They are certainly welcome amongst our ranks.

I have started up the Newbie Party but I assure you, of the parties that were already in existence, I held yours in the highest regard. I fully approve of your agenda and hope the best party wins. Preferrably the Newbie Party. But otherwise the JLI.

No sweat. Captain Chocobo isn't known as 'The Eternal Newbie' for no reason. Without new citizens, the heroes would have no one to protect.

I appreciate you trying to rehabilitate those who have taken the less fortunate path. We indeed have many vile fiends in custody, including the right hand men of the vile Lord Michnaid. We were very proud of those particular captures, though their boss eludes us to this day. We will set up your access to these wards right away!

Well, I have talked with them, and though it is difficult, I believe there can be progress! As you can see, and verify, they seem slightly mollified by my talk (which I have been given to understand is quite convincing), and they have taken the first Mind's Step towards rehabilitation!

Next on my list is to visit the famous scientific laboratories where you are incubating the myriad mysteries of evil erasure. I have always wanted to see it!

Are you referring to the Large Deletion Collider that I used to foil Michnaid's attempt to blanket the world under a permanent snowstorm*? Why yes, we still have that around here somewhere. Attention fellow heroes and villains! I just got word from Election Command that we have a mission before us. We must assign the following duties from within our ranks:

• Minister for the Arts - Captain Bieber
• Minister of Communication - thelivingvillain
• Minister for Foreign Affairs - Viewtiful Prot
• Treasurer - Sir Beardclava

I am happy to take volunteers, however time is short and action must be swift! So I may just assign duties to whoever I feel is best qualified.

In addition we must nominate a Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister to represent the JLI at the united hero council. As your leader, I humbly nominate myself for the Prime Minister position. As for my deputy, I feel that both heroes and villains need representation so I would hope that either Depression Man or thelivingvillain were up to the cause!

Excellent. Our treasurer needs to be someone trustworthy, and who is more trustworthy than a man with an exceptionally long beard?

That just leaves two positions, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister. It should be known that someone who already has a role can also run for Deputy PM.

As for Minister of FA, well if no one else volunteers for that position I may just assign it myself. Who will I assign it to? Well, let's just say the JLI always has an ACE up its seleve.

Also, registration for this team is still very much open. Members from parties who did not make the cut, fear not! You are welcome at JLI headquarters with open arms. Just speak to Mr. Completely Harmless Man for your registration form where you will submit your name, power, secret identity and known weaknesses. Simple, really. You get all the veterans and current users, and I mean all of them, to move to a site called Eyes off final fantasy, make it EXACTLY the same as this one, only on a cheap/free server. The EoFF value plummets, and you can but it all up with the ad money made from EoffFF.

On a random note, every time I see this thread title I want to rename it to the JLS party. But not only would that be too insulting to JLI but most people here wouldn't even get the insult/joke. :(

Why would we expect you to think that, Chocolate Agent Lynx? Your loyalty to a rival faction more interested in animal cruelty than serving justice would lead us to the obvious conclusion that your reasoning prowess is distorted.

As for the lack of activity in this thread, the presence of the JLI is needed in much more than one mere thread or one mere forum. The JLI seeks to maintain peace across all forums, and our duties to post elsewhere prevent us from congregating in a single thread trying to perpetuate some kind of massive continuous party celebrating how awesome we think we are, as may be the case for other factions.

Also, it should be noted that JLI headquarters is currently going through some renovations after a mysterious explosion crippled some of our defensive systems and resulted in the disappearance of our beloved night watchman, Mr. Completely Harmless Man, along with several pieces of weaponry confiscated from the Brotherhood of Elitists over the years.

The bonds of love and affection are what grows out of those hand-sized balls when a Pokémon is released into combat. And while it may seem cruel by some the means a Trainer must take to strengthen him or herself and their Pokémon, heroes are necessary should disaster and misfortune strike. Having watched Jirachi Wish Maker, Destiny Deoxys, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, The Rise of Darkrai, Giratina and the Sky Warrior, Arceus and the Jewel of Life, Zoroark: Master of Illusions, Victini and the Black Hero: Zekrom & Victini and the White Hero: Reshiram, Mewtwo Returns and The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon, I can positively assure you someone here needs to rise up and protect the world. I know you superheroes like to lay claim here, but Pokémon Trainers are real people who have learned to solve their own problems without "super" powers.

How can you say you have solved your own problems when you send creatures to do your fighting for you? These callouses on our fists are not borne from the continuous handling of balls, but are instead the result of countless battles where we put our own lives on the line to take on real threats to the forums.

Clearly you are under the impression Pokémon is a [children's card game]. You have my envy for being so carefree.
