I adore Dona. On the one hand we're told Summoners are these holy people who set out on selfless journeys to save the world. Yuna is an example of purity and modesty and all that junk.

In marches Dona, ready to trample all over you in the stilettos I don't think she's wearing. (Even still, I can fantasize) She's sassy, she's bossy, she's my kinda lady.

And it's not all about looks you see. Just listen to dat voice.

Eh, people like to joke about them having sex but I really doubt it. Pretty sure it was just a makeout session.

Tidus was probably the first guy Yuna ever kissed or did anything with anyway.

I liked the idea that Dona was presented as a rival for Yuna in the pilgrimage. She is a step away from the pure, innocent image of the typical summoner.

I am pretty sure that the scene at Macalania Lake is symbolic of some sort of intimacy. I always assumed that there was physical contact involved without clothing.

I agree that Dona is pretty cool, and way better than the painfully pure and holy Yuna.

Her elitism got on my nerves a bit but on the whole I found Dona quite entertaining actually. Her as a full-time party member would've gotten on my nerves though.

Though seriously, she could have taken on Sin single handedly. She traveled around Spira with only one guardian and seemed to fare fine. Here's Yuna with an army of guardians, and even then some people got game overs.

Why wouldn't she sacrifice her sole guardian? She herself was gonna die straight after fighting Sin, was she not? Granted Barthello would've become the next Sin (oh god that would've been hilarious) and Dona would've had to wait a reeeeaaally long time to rejoice for eternity in the Farplane but there you go. It would've worked out eventually.
