Well, they should put up a petition to make potato salad! People can't give to the needy if they don't know who to give to!
I think donations for this are capped at $50 anyway - which, yeah makes a big difference to some people I guess but this wasn't intended. It's just another thing that's gotten out of control and now this guy is intending to do a cookbook etc with the money and take it further. I say good on him.
