If I were to get a new game for PS2, what game should I get?
I think you should get Xenosaga or Radiata Stories, I like those games. I posted because I know what it feels like to not have anyone post to your thread. :cry:
Final Fantasy XII
Final Fantasy XII, Tales of the Abyss, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Radiata Stories, Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria, and probably alot more that don't come to mind right now.

Other than that, Okami is an amazing game that no one should miss.

Street Fighter Alpha Anthology, Tekken 5, Guilty Gear XX and Final Fantasy 12.
All worth your money.
All mentioned games are worth it. I was going to suggest Yakuza as well, but I checked your profile and I don't usually reccomend M rated games to under 17's.
FF12 is the 'newest' of the bunch though, and Okami is another hefty game. For some not-so-new stuff, look for one of the Katamari games and/or Shadow of the Collosus if you don't have them.
Snake Eater's only $10 or so now. Go buy Snake Eater. Do it. Now.

Harvest Moon for 'open ended' game, or Oblivion for an 'open ended RPG'. Oblivion isn't on PS2 though, if you're still looking for PS2 only games.
There are no good shooters on the PS2, but I guess the best of the bunch would be SOCOM.

yeah...its the really freaky game where you have 7 personatlities and use them like alternate characters.

My mom said she might get me a 360 for Christmas. You can name some good games for that as well. I already know about Prey, Gears of War and Dead Rising, o how I loved those helmets and apparel changes that let you use them in cutscenes, such as a tron tron head or megaman helmet.

Don't get Prey, it's about two hours long and a gigantic waste of money.
