whats penance? is that like another name for sin?
Penance is an optional boss that appears in the International or PAL version of the FFX game. It pops up after you defeat all the Dark Aeons. It's quite a challenge given that most of the Dark Aeons are about the equivalent of Nemesis and Penance is only a bazillion times harder.Quote:

As far as I know, Penance has the highest HP of all bosses in the history of Final Fantasy. If Emerald from VII had it over the roof then I don't wanna imagine how much Penance has. Heck I don't even know how he looks like!

Do a goolgle search for Split_Infinities FFX walkthough. It details, step by step, a stratagy to beat penance with a 100% success rate. That's right, there is no way you can lose if you follow the guide to the letter...
Penance isn't that hard...
So Penance does not appear in the NA version of FFX?
