You just need more patience. I tend to stop playing games midways too.
You both suck.
(SPOILER) LAWL
u hurt my feelangs :(((
We dont' care about yoru feelings though.
Meh, if its because ou stopped playingyou don't suck. IF you keep trying your hardest at all you play, then yes, you suck. But who cares so long as you have fun.
What games did you beat? And more to the point, what kind of games do you play most often? RPGs? First Person Shooters? Platformers? Because if your playing just a certain genra, then it could be that you just aren't good at that particular type of game.
(SPOILER)teehee
You don't need to complete games in order to be good; it's all about the way you play them. :)
I guess you already knew that, though. XD
Anyway, just play more games, and eventually you'll rock.
I know a guy who played Perfect Dark four hours a day just because he liked it, and then he had only one life against a skilled opponent, and he won all the time. :D
I used to never beat games. I'd get up to the final boss and put them on the shelf. I'm not even sure why anymore.
This is gonna sound really, urgh, condescending, and I don't mean it to, but it's common for younger folks to not beat games. I have plenty of cousins 13 and below that never finish anything they get. I never did either when I was 12. When you get older you will probably begin to finish them all.
I still have to beat Super Mario Bros. Before I played RPGs, I has only beaten Starcraft/WC3 with cheats.
So what you didn't finish any games? Does it matter? Does the ending of the game give more joy than the actual gameplay? If every game were based on the ending, FFX-2 > Starcraft. This is blasphemy, and you know it.
For some reason, I always Ratchet and Clank, but i can nvr beat it.
I sometimes do the same thing. It is no surprise. I used to do it a lot. It's probably not that you suck, its just you don't play a lot.
It's pretty much the other way around for me. When I was younger, I played games a lot more than these days. Nowadays, I can't really be bothered to play games, let alone finish them. I beat FFIV in 6 days in 2001, but beating FFIVA took me about 8 months (I beat it in August 2006). On Christmas vacation, though, I was able to play KH2 a lot, and I even finished it.
The thing is, many games take a while to beat, and it usually takes a while to get the hang of the game, and even longer to become really good at it. Just don't give up, keep trying and try to have fun. :) Playing games when you're really frustrated at them doesn't usually help. Practice also helps you become better at games.
you don't suck at games if you don't beat them.
You suck at RPGs if most people can beat at a game at level 50, and you have to be level 70.
You suck at fighting games if you always lose.
You suck at FPS if you can't aim.
...etc.
THE JACKEL
I started FFV early 2005 and still haven't beaten it. Admittedly i only play it occcasionly, been a while since i played it cause i can't beat those Crystals inside of that tree :mad2:
well it takes lots of guts saying that you suck at games...im suggesting your right because at the age of 12 or 13 you tend to imagine a bit and imagining is part of every game...so whoch means also you suck at imagining....
Squall---don't sue...
Hm, I think I know why now...I have a short attention span! :D
no nothing about attention its about your imagining you suck at it!!! and what Jackal said...
I don't suck at games, but I've got so many to play that I rarely finish them. :(
i don't beat many games either. i am most likely prone to beat a fighting game or some flash game, just b/c they are short. i am constantly jumping from one game to another. plain lazy.
go play mortal combat you cna beat that in 20 minutes time if that. theres hundreds of games out there that can be beaten with in an hour. i beat killer instinct the first time i played it within 20 minutes or so.
I rarely finish games. AND I suck at them. I still like playing them though. XD
Don't worry. I've started playing many games and then suddenly stopped right before ending it. I guess I just grew tired of them for some reason, which is really irritating. I have many game files where I only need to play through the last parts of the game. I guess I need some more patience.
Which two games are we talking about here?
Erm, Star Ocean Til the End of Time and... FFX-2...
Do not think you suck, either suck, or do not.
You shouldn't feel bad about sucking. You just need to try to get used to the games you play more.
Sometimes you just get better at games with age. You might not even have to play them to get better at them. I've tried it before and it works.
I defeated Super Mario Bros when I was 11.
Then again, I did first start playing that game when I was 3 or 4.
Haha I suck at videogames too. It's depressing. Well, most of the time I don't mind, but when I play multiplayer games and stuff, oh man does it show. I think I still have a good time though. ;D
Also, I'm also one of the people who beat more games when they were younger. I rarely have the drive to do so anymore, unless a game really wows me. Let's hope you're the opposite though!
If you beat those two games, I think you can take on others.
>>> Im very good with videogames, Im proud of all my videogame feats..
But nobody cares about that anyways..
I could say that I care, if it makes you feel better.
