    Somewhat hoarse throat...

The past few years (since 2003, I think) my throat has felt a bit "dry".
I don't know exactly how to descibe it, but I frequently feel the need to clear my throat, and it generally feels a bit like sandpaper.
Is this natural for a 20-year-old, or is my throat simply messed up?

Your throat is infected by the MANUS virus.

Have you made your contribution to charity yet? That is probably it. That is how they get you.

It's probably allergies to something you've been near since 2003, or in 2003 you developed an allergy to something you've always been around.

I suggest that you try to find the offending thing (cats, grass, some chemical you use around the house, &c), but until then try antihistamines to see if they help. I personally find that Allegra works best, especially since it's less likely to cause drowsiness than some other antihistamines.

My girlfriend is slightly allergic to scruff from animals. However it hasn't stopped us having a dog and cat. One of her symptoms is dry and sore throat occasionally, so you should go to allergy tests first.

Have you tried seeing a doctor?
