Nosebleeds!

How often do your nasal passages spew blood? Any stories you wish to share?

I woke up with one today. Now my sheet and pillow have lovely little red blotches. It'd been a while since my last nosebleed, so I was a bit overdue. :P

I used to get nosebleeds all the time when I was a kid. And they were BAD! I mean, just a constant heavy stream of blood. Once I got smacked in the face with a medicine ball and I just started gushing like a tap and everyone was like "OMG EWW AHH YOU'RE BLEEDING TO DEATH AHH!" and I was just like "What? Oh, this always happens."

i have nosebleeds when i have high fevers. That or when i havent slept in four days lol

i haven't had any for weeks, but i had been getting them frequently in March. it is always my left nostril. i've never had so many nosebleeds before, but it's not a lot of blood.

last time i had a nosebleed was in a fight...before that it was a helluvalong time ago and i don't remember.

one time a friend wanted to test the "you can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose" saying on me. I let her stick her finger up my nostril, and her fingernail cut my nose and it started spewing blood. So we learned the hard way why that saying is true.

I used to get them alot when I was little. I used to think I was prone to nosebleeds, but it was really because of how I'd scratch my nose. I was too embarassed to pick it, so I'd violently rub my hand across it many times. It would begin bleeding not too long afterwards.

I was once eating a steak and tasted blood and thought my teeth were bleeding. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved when i saw it was just my nose.
