You have perished. As you travel through the spiraling ether of life's last silver light, you come to realize that you suddenly have a choice as to what eternity you will enjoy/endure. Which version of the afterlife would you choose?

So, basically, of all the known religions and myths of the afterlife, which would you choose, and why?

This can be heaven or hell, purgatory or reincarnation. The only thing I ask is that it be a recorded and/or recognized religion/myth. Providing links to which afterlife most interests/appalls you might be worth doing, as some of us enjoy absorbing information.


I have always found the plains of Elysium to be something intriguing. The idea that the earth is one cyclic organism - where we return to "mother" - is something that interests me as well.
