OMG I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUUUUCHHH
It's different, but the only one I don't LOVE TO DEATH OMG is Hands Held High. I don't dislike it. I'm just not in love with it at the same level of the others.
(I'm listening to In Pieces right now)
I like it. I mean, I enjoy Linkin Park regardless....and i'm listening to it as we speak. I just...Like it. Not in a fangirl way. I just think it's good music.

I happen to like What I've Done. I can't say I like any song on the CD as much as their older work, but I don't dislike any of them. I have nothing against artists putting political messages in their songs. In fact it's a nice change from the same 'ole music that's normally thrown on the radio.

Been listening to it for awhile now, it seems to grow on me every time. I'm still not sure If I like it completely, as a better album than Meteora or Hybrid Theory, but this is definitely a keeper.
It's not atrocious, but it could be a lot better as well.
That said, I like Hands Held High quite a lot.
Yeah, it did sound a bit forced at spots. All in all, I am thinking it is their best work thus far. They did loose a bit of their edge, as Maxx Pirate said, but even they stated long ago that this album was different. So who knows, we will see what their next works bring. If they can combine their newfound rhythm with their old edge, they would really have something, imo.
though, to set my preference straight, I like M2M the best, and Meteora second. Hybrid theory is a close third. I did feel that Meteora was a spill over from Hybrid theory, though with this third disk, you can listen to the disks in order: Hybrid Theory - > Meteora -> Minutes to Midnight, and it just flows so damned well. It really does show their growth and strength of musical art. Especially with the intro on Minutes to Midnight so appropriately named "Wake".
The whole compilation is actually quite lovely.
I have to agree. The more i listen to M2M, the better I like it. I still haven't decided if it's my favorite yet...we'll see.

After hearing What I've Done (it gives me nice dreams), I'm definitely gonna buy it. God knows when though.
i was gonna buy it yesterday then decided to not
I like chocolate!! No matter what flavor you get, you can always taste the broken dreams!

Yeah, Meteora was my favorite for sure, until I really listened to this one all the way through, and gave it more of a fair shake. No More Sorrow still has got to be one of my favorites. Though "Take out all the rest" is infinitely the best track on the cd.
I heard a lot of Chester's lyrics were driven by his divorce and hard marriage; so perhapses this is why I can get so into this album. It feels authentic - not like other [more] emoish lyrics.
Man this album has grown on me. When I first heard it I thought it was awful, but was determined to give it a chance because I loved Hybrid Theory and Meteora, and liked 'What I've Done' before I got the album. I now really like pretty much every track. "Leave out all the rest", "Bleed it out", "Valentine's Day", and "The little things give you away" are currently my favourite tracks methinks.
I say what I think. If you disagree, then that is up to you.
