I used to go in chat, but I lost my mIRC and never bothered to install it again. I always preferred the forums, though.

edit: i always like reading the chat stats, though.

I'd rather forums over chat, because forums have several topics instead of one. And people on forums have restrictions that chat doesn't have, which sucks sometimes, but it's all for the better.

Chat can be fun, but most often the conversation is about something that doesn't interest me at all. So forum is better, for me, because I can choose more freely what I want to talk about. For instance now I chose to enter this thread instead of Lekana's butt thread.

So there was this time Christmas joined chat to scout for her beautiful sexy goddess and Christmas appeared with a random username and told everyone she is new to the internetz and wishes to be as cool as all her beautiful sexy goddess there.

Christmas was welcomed by Gullick and Agrias and one more person which she had no idea who he or she is but Christmas still wish to express her undying gratitude to that person.

They taught Christmas how to be cool and awesome in the internetz and they even help Christmas to come up with a kickass username which she forgot. :kaocry2:

Christmas didn't get flamed nor owned by famous words like "N00BZ, GO DIE PLZ" or "LOLOLOLOL, GET OFF MY INTERNETZ!". So Christmas thinks that chat isn't such a bad place afterall especially there isn't any LITTLE MANUS there. :shoot:

I usually prefer chat, i havent been to these forums for a while...mainly cause i look at the threads and can't thinkof any witty comments that would come close to the rest

I really kinda like chat =] I just showed up one day and started talking and everybody made me feel welcome and now I'm pretty good friends with a lot of the people there~! XD But I'm an IRC junkie to begin with, I idle in like five thousand channels across the intarwebs.

Chat is the best place for random off-topic discussions. Sane discussions stay in the forums.

The forum is good too, for, as said before, specific topics... but other than that, I find chat more enjoyable. xD

It has it's pluses and minuses like anything else.

+ You and everyone else has time to think over and compose coherent questions and responses.

+ You can pick what discussion to participate in.



- You and everyone else have to wait, somtimes for a whole day, for a response.

- Sometimes you have a brilliant well-worded response that will now be totally useless and unimpressive because somone else has beaten you to it an hour ago.
