it's been a while since i saw a thread about them so...

why do you give user notes?! are they for fun, to dispense random facts about the universe, to organize anything, to talk about candid topics that aren't racey enough for a PM?!?!

what was the original purpose of the usernote? any theories?

Their a place for us to spam to our hearts delight. Its suppose to stop spamming of the forum (Too bad it doesn't work :evilking I post them to friends usually. Or if I get bored. Or if I feel like spamming. And when I found out they were taking the Hobbits to Isengard.

I give usernotes when I feel like doing something and have a bunch of time on my hands, and can't think of anything else to do. Which is, unfortunately, not often. I think the original purpose was spam? or to get in contact with folks in a not-so-personal way.
