I give usernotes when I feel like doing something and have a bunch of time on my hands, and can't think of anything else to do. Which is, unfortunately, not often. I think the original purpose was spam? or to get in contact with folks in a not-so-personal way.

Usernotes can be good fun. I guess there can be any reason to give one, and that's the way I go about usernoting myself.

If you don't need a reason to give one, then why the hell haven't you given me one??? Do it!
