I'll usernote people if I especially like them, or on very rare occasions, just because I feel like being random. I generally try to avoid people who are too caught up in getting lots of usernotes of their own as a sign of popularity or whatever the reasoning may be.

Basically it's your personal collection of spamversations.
I do it for kicks ^_^ I know that I like gettin' them, so I give them to people.

Very, very rarely.
They're usually of no significance anyway.
I gave usernotes when people usernoted me, but that was because rsl was advertising it in his sig and now they don't anymore.
'cause I can chill and be funky with mah buddies.
I personally enjoy leaving senseless user notes, especially ones that consist solely of a smiley (since that seems to be the best way to go about it)! I also have the most user notes of all which can only make me supremely awesome... right? The fact that most of them are from me means nothing!
