There's nothing in the laws of physics to prevent time travel.

There isn't anything to prevent going forward, but you can't go backward. To go back in time, you would have to exceed the speed of light, which is clearly impossible.

Physicists have found the law of nature which prevents time travel paradoxes, and thereby permits time travel.
