Ok heres a few now I don't generally have to use them but hey I've been known to pull a line out of the hat on occasion.

Hey, your clothes look great but I can think of one place they'd look better...on my bedroom floor (omg this is bad I know)

your eyes are like stars because I'm a star gazer and I can't tear myself away from them (would be surprised if this worked but I just thought it up listening to bon jovi lol)

now this is one that has actually worked for me on 2 occasions. I know this will sound stupid but hey I don't make the rules I just make the lines :P

Guy: Well me and my mates were just messing around having a conversation in goldfish (any made up language will work here but this is my personal line)

Girl: Oh yeah hows this work then? Ought to be good...

Guy: Well it's simple really, you just do (insert whatever the action/word is for your language) make mouth movements like a fish, do it repeatedly like *bob bob bob bob* and somehow they'll understand you.

Girl: Ok, strange but what the hell *does a bit of goldfish language or whatever* whats that mean then?

Guy: That? Did you just proposition me?

Somehow that cheesey overload has worked 2 times in my past I went out for three years with one of the girls it worked on. I got the number of a barmaid with it the second time she was fun but not my type. Obviously you gotta just drop it carefully in to convo and have the right atmosphere.

I think any line can work in the right situation you just gotta deliver it with the right sense of humour and in that perfect situation it's easy to pull off the worst or cheese of cheese lines if you get the timing and the nature of it's delivery right if I delivered any of the chat up lines I have used recently with a straight face I'd be laughed out of the room. Yet because I have delivered them with the right level of cheek, charm and over all humour I'm able to not only get away with them but succeede with them.
