We would start with the contestant PM'ing the game host their questions, then the host would PM these to the contestants and they would send their responses back via PM. Then the host would post them (anonymously) in the game thread and the contestant has to pick the best answer. And so everyone else can play along, those not playing can try to guess who the contestant and candidates are, and make their own comments on the questions/answers.

We did that once actually, with BoB being the hot bachelor. This was a long time ago, so could be fun doing it over again.
