if you want to get back to the main forum's index, click the banner, if you want to go to a specific area of the forum, use the drop down at the bottom of the screen. If you want to go back to the forum the thread you were reading came from, use the breadcrumb (ex: Eyes on Final Fantasy Forums > General > General Chat > Mark Forums Read? ) to do so.

if you use mark forums read, then you can't tell what posts you've read and which you haven't!
