I think most of the rules here are pretty tolerable. The only thing that I find rather pointless is the swear filter. I don't have any innate desire to cuss or anything, I just don't see the point of censoring it on a fan site for a series primarily aimed at teenagers anyway.

The google ads we used to run (we don't now, do we?) stipulated that we could not have certain swears on the forums. I don't think they're very appropriate myself either!

I thought we still had them. But yes, that is the reason the swear filters exist.
