On the basis of this thread, I think Canada has put forward the most convincing argument. Though I might've been swayed if the Yanks had agreed to call themselves Yanks.

For being a member of the Commonwealth Canada is obviously better. However the number of French people in Canada worries me as coolness and Frenchiness are at opposite ends of the awesomeness spectrum.
